RIMBEY - RAAB
A pretty home wedding was solemnized in Midway at 4:45 o'clock, Wednesday afternoon, April 17, 1935, when Miss Ariel B.
RAAB, daughter of Mrs. Ella C. RAAB, became the bride of Mr. Byron F. RIMBEY, son of Mr. and Mrs. A. L. RIMBEY of Carnegie. The marriage ceremony, which took place before an altar of palms and ferns, was read by the Rev. Thomas PAIGE of Ligonier. A few relatives and close friends of the couple were present. Preceding the ceremony Miss Veda CUMMINS sang two beautiful solos, "At Dawning," and "I Love You Truly." She was accompanied by Miss Margaret DAUDET, who also played the bridal chorus from Lohengrin as the bridal party entered the room. The bride wore a gown of white satin and carried an arm bouquet of white roses. She was attended by her cousin Miss Rena
RAAB, who wore green embroidered organza, and carried talisman roses. Mr. Kenneth W. DOUGLASS of Carnegie, cousin of the groom, acted as best man.
Following the ceremony a dinner was served, with covers for twelve at the bride's table, which was decorated with a centerpiece of spring flowers and lighted white candles. the remaining guests were seated at another table with similar decorations.
Mr. and Mrs. RIMBEY left immediately for a trip to North Carolina and other Southern points. They will be at home to their friends in their newly furnished home on Daw avenue, Carnegie, after May 15.

Miss Mae WALKER, daughter of Mrs. Elizabeth NOPI of Southview, and Vincent RINER, also of Southview, were united in marriage at 7:10 p.m., Monday, April 2, 1934, in the office of the officiating magistrate, Justice A. B. COCHRAN of McDonald. The young couple will reside in Southview.

Miss Mabel O. BROWETT, daughter of Mrs. Pauline Masquelier BROWETT of 316 Station street, McDonald, and the late Fernal J. BROWETT, and Harold V. RITICHIE, grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Victor CENIS of 209 Liberty street, McDonald, were united in marriage at 7:30 p.m. Friday, June 18, 1943, in the Irons Memorial French U.P. church, McDonald. The pastor, the Rev. Alexandre Mage, D.D., performed the single ring ceremony before an embankment of roses.
The bride, given in marriage by her uncle, Jules Z. MASQUELIER of Valley street, McDonald, wore a gown of ivory satin and imported lace with a tulle fingertip veil. She wore a pearl necklace, a gift of the bridegroom, and the gold bracelet presented to her mother by her father about 35 years ago. Her bouquet was of white roses and lilies of the valley. The matron of honor, Mrs. Albert McGINNIS of McDonald, a cousin of the bride, wore an aqua taffeta gown with sweetheart neckline. She carried a bouquet of tea roses. The bridesmaids were Miss LaVerne RITCHIE, sister of the bridegroom, who wore blue taffeta and chiffon and carried a bouquet of pink roses, and Miss Mari CRAME, cousin of the bride, who wore pink taffeta and chiffon and carried a bouquet of red roses. Each attendant wore a strand of pearls, a gift of the bride. Samuel M. RITCHIE, brother of the bridegroom, served as bestman and the ushers were Fernal J. BROWETT, brother of the bride, Joseph SUPLIT, cousin of the bride,
I. H. WORK, uncle of the bridegroom, and John C. BARON. The bride's mother was attired in the pink frosted organdy gown she wore on her silver wedding anniversary. Her corsage was of red roses. Mrs. Victor CENIS, grandmother of the bridegroom, wore a blue print dress and a corsage of red roses.
Miss Thelma CENIS, aunt of the bridegroom, played the wedding music and Miss Dorothy BUSH of Dravosburg sang "At Dawning" and "Because."
Following the ceremony, a reception for the immediate families was held in the home of the bride's mother. Sixty were present.
Mr. and Mrs. RITCHIE are both graduates of McDonald high school. Mrs. RITCHIE also graduated from the Grace Martin Secretarial school, Pittsburgh.
The young couple reside at 201 North street, McDonald.
