The middle name, Hartranft, sounded so unusual that I was curious.  Read more about the Hartranft family name.  Hartranft supposedly a nickname for "a pauper".

Miss Olive Marian REED, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Marsh REED, formerly of Oakdale, now of Morgantown, W. Va., and Dr. Frank Hartranft REICHEL of Elizabeth, N. J., were united in marriage by Rev. Oran H. BAKU, pastor of the First Baptist church of Morgantown, on Tuesday, June 19, 1923 in the home of the bride in North University avenue, Morgantown. Mr. William J. REED, brother of the bride, sang. Miss Harriet WILLIAMS accompanied Mr. REED and played the wedding march. The home was beautifully decorated with ferns and roses. The bridal party included Miss Elizabeth REED, a sister of the bride, as maid of honor; Miss Margaret REED, also a sister, and Miss Ruth PHILLIPS of Library, Pa., as bridesmaids; Kathryn REED and Nell JENKINS as flower girls and William C. DENNY of Oakdale was best man. The bride, who was given in marriage by her father, wore a gown of white crepe and oriental lace and a bandeau of orange blossoms and carried a bouquet of brides' roses and lilies of the valley. She also wore a platinum bar pin set with diamonds and sapphires, a gift of the groom. Her attendants wore white crepe with lace and carried pink roses. Mrs. REICHEL has been supervisor of art and penmanship in the Wellsburg, W. Va. schools for five or six years. She was graduated from Pennsylvania State Normal school, Indiana, Pa. in 1917. She also was a student of the Columbia and and West Virginia universities and Palmer Method School for Penmanship. Dr. REICHEL, who is a son of Mr. and Mrs. E. G. REICHEL of Saegerstown, Pa., was graduated from Allegheny College in 1916 and received his doctor's degree from Harvard in 1917. He later studied abroad, receiving his doctor's degree from the University of Geneva, Switzerland. He also did research work at the University of Berlin. Immediately after the dinner was served the young couple left for Atlantic City, where they will spend some time, later going to Crawford, N. J. where they will make their home until October 1st.  At this date they will go to Elizabeth, N. J. where they will reside in Westminster Court apartments. Among those from Oakdale who attended the wedding were: Mr. and Mrs. F. H. KENNEDY, Dr. and Mrs. C. B. DENNY and son and Mrs. Mae SPEICE and son Earl [SPEICE].

Viola RANDOUR, daughter of Thomas Ritson of Sturgeon, and John REINSTADTLER, also of 
Sturgeon, were united in marriage at 7:30 p.m. Friday, September 17, 1943, in Oakdale. 

The bride wore a green wool suit with black accessories and a corsage of yellow rosebuds.  She was attended by the bridegroom's sister, John RITSON of Venice served as bestman.

Following the ceremony, a reception was held in Eagle's hall, Sturgeon. About 200 guests attended with 25 seated at the bride's table.

Both Mr. and Mrs. REINSTADTLER are graduates of North Fayette high school. Mr. REINSTADTLER is
a dentist in the armed service.

Miss Katherine SCHUSTER, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George SCHUSTER of Midway, and Mr. Harry L. REMMERT, son of G.E. REMMERT of Bulger and the late Olive SCOTT REMMERT, were united in marriage at 8:00 o'clock Friday evening, February 23, 1940, in the First Presbyterian church, Hollidays Cove, W.Va., the pastor, the Rev. Kane BARNES, officiating.  Lohengrin's wedding march was played by the church organist as the young couple walked down the aisle. They were attended by Mr. and Mrs. Warren G. REMMERT, brother and sister-in-law of the bridegroom.

Mrs. REMMERT is a 1939 graduate of Midway high school. Mr. REMMERT, a 1935 graduate of Burgettstwon high school, is employed in the Wagner & Mitchell grocerty store. The young couple will reside in Main street, Burgettstown.

Miss Alberta GRIFFITH, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. C. E. GRIFFITH of Candor, and Mr. Warren REMMERT, son of Mr. G.E. REMMERT of Bulger and the late Olive SCOTT REMMERT, were united in marriage at 10:45 a.m.  Wednesday, December 20, 1939, in the parsonage of the Raccoon Presbyterian church at Candor, the pastor, the Rev. James P. SHAW, officiating.

Following the ceremony a wedding dinner was served in the home of the bride's parents. Mrs. REMMERT is a graduate of the Midway high school. Mr. REMMERT, a 1934 graduate of Union high school, Burgettstown, is employed by the Pennsylvania State highway department. The young couple will reside in Bulger.
