Miss Ida Mae RAAB, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry RAAB of R.D. 4, McDonald, and Pvt. George REED of Ft. Story, Va., son of Mrs. Elizabeth REED of Midway, were united in marriage Wednesday evening, April 14, 1943, in the First Baptist church, Midway, by the pastor, the Rev.
P.W. HORNE. The bride was given in marriage by her father. The attendants were Robert REED of Midway, brother of the bridegroom, and Miss Dorothy McALISTER of Hickory. C.F. DAVIDSON played the wedding music.

Mr. and Mrs. George CRAFT announce the marriage of their daughter Nellie May to Mr. Harry REED of Carnegie, which took place at Wheeling, W.Va., on Monday, April 22. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. John H. HESS, pastor of the M. E. Church. Mr. and Mrs. REED will go to

REED - JANESHEK
Miss Eleanor JANESHEK, daughter of Mr. and Mrs.
Vincent JANESHEK of Midway, and Robert Ray REED, son of Mrs. Elizabeth REED of Midway, were united
in marriage at six o'clock Monday evening, March 6, 1944, in the manse of the Center United Presbyterian
church, Midway, by the Rev. Alfred HUBBARD.
The bride wore a navy blue ensemble with white
accessories and a corsage of white carnations.
The bridesmaid, Miss Dorothy JANESHEK, of Midway, sister of the bride, wore a poudre blue ensemble
with navy accessories and corsage of pink carnations. Clarence TIGNER of Midway, brother-in-law of the
bridegroom, served as bestman.
The young couple took a trip to Columbus, Ohio, and are now at home with the bride's parents.
Mrs. REED, a 1940 graduate of Midway high school, is employed by the Allis-Chalmers Co., Pittsburgh. Mr.
REED, also a 1940 graduate of Midway high school, is employed by the Pennsylvania railroad.
