PUGH - MALONE
Miss Arlene Malone, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. E. Malone of Florence, and Cpl. Paul F. Pugh, son of Mr. and Mrs. J. A. Pugh of East Liverpool, Ohio, were united in marriage at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, January 13, 1944, in the Florence Presbyterian church by the pastor, the Rev. R. L. Biddle.
Preceding the ceremony, Mrs. Carl Utz sang "At Dawning" and "O Promise M," accompanied by Miss Celestine
Stievenart.
The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a blue dress with navy blue accessories. She carried a bouquet of pink roses and yellow chrysanthemums, tied with a blue ribbon. The maid of honor, Miss June
Keifer, wore beige with blue accessories and a corsage of talisman roses. The bridesmaid, Miss Mary Eleanor Pugh, sister of the bridegroom, wore a corsage of yellow roses. Petty officer third class Joseph Hill, cousin of the bride, served as bestman and the ushers were George Pugh and James Arnold.
Following the ceremony, a reception for 70 guests was held in the Malone home.

ALGEO of Center avenue, McDonald. The young couple will reside in Wheeling.
