WEDDINGS
POLLOCK - McKISSICK
Miss Donna Mae McKISSICK, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Wayne E. McKISSICK of Canonsburg and James Coleman POLLOCK, son of Mr. and Mrs. Addis C. POLLOCK of Canonsburg, were united in marriage at 4 p.m. Saturday, December 20, in the home of the bride. The Rev. William HADDEN of West Middletown performed the double ring ceremony.
Preceding the ceremony wedding music was played by Miss Martha POLLOCK, sister of the bridegroom. The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a gown of aqua taffeta -- and a corsage of red roses. Wedding tradition were carried out in her attire. Mr. and Mrs. Grant KENNARD, brother-in-law and sister of the bridegroom, served as the couple's only attendants. Mrs. KENNARD was attired in rose crepe and wore a corsage of yellow roses.
Following the ceremony, a reception was held for members of the immediate family. A buffet luncheon was served, the table being centered with a tiered wedding cake and lighted with red tapers in crystal
candelbra [sic=candelabra].
Upon their return from a brief honeymoon, they will be at home at Boone Terrace. For her going away outfit, the bride chose a Kelly green suit with black accessories.
The bridegroom is a graduate of Canonsburg high school and spent three years in the Marine Corps. He is employed at the Fort Pitt Bridge works.
Among the guests present were the bride's paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Lester
Kahl, Oakdale.

Miss Martha Edith OZENBAUGH, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William OZENBAUGH of Hickory, and Pvt. Paul
POLOCHAK, son of Mr. and Mrs. George POLOCHAK of Canonsburg, were united in marriage, Wednesday, November 17, 1943, in the home of the officiating minister, the Rev. Ralph
KEMPER, pastor of the South Canonsburg church.
The bride wore a street-length dress of burgundy velvet and a corsage of American Beauty roses. Her attendant, Miss Mary Shumaker of
MONINGER, wore a soldier blue street-length dress and a corsage of pink roses. Pvt. Mario
RANELLI, stationed at Camp Forrest, Tenn., served as bestman.
A wedding dinner for the bridal party was served in the home of the bride's parents. A large wedding cake, topped with a miniature bride and bridegroom, formed the table centerpiece. The house was decorated in rainbow colors.
The bride is a 1939 graduate of Mt. Pleasant township high school. Private
POLOCHAK is stationed at Camp Forrest, Tenn., with a field
artillery battalion. The bride will reside with her parents for the present.

Mrs. J. A. McDONALD and Miss Jane C. McDONALD were among the guests in attendance at the largest church wedding ever held in Indiana, Pa. It occurred Wednesday evening when Mr. Charles Maull POMEROY of Ridley Park and Miss Ada
Vere [CRAWFORD], daughter of Rev. Dr. and Mrs. F. Swartz CRAWFORD were married in the chapel of the new Presbyterian church.

A pretty wedding took place in St. Patrick's church, Noblestown, Wednesday morning, June 28, 1922, at nine o'clock, when Miss Mary Geraldine STYPERK of Union avenue, Oakdale, became the bride of Earnest Joseph POMME, son of Mrs. Ida POMME PUTTLE of Syracuse, N. Y. The bridal party marched to the altar to the strains of Lohengrin's "Bridal Chorus," played by Miss Hazel ASHTON of Oakdale, and were married before a nuptial high mass sung by the Rev. Fr. D. J. COX. During the ceremony John DUFFY of Noblestown sang "Oh Promise Me." The bride, who was given in marriage by her father, wore a dark blue poiret twille suit with a dark blue picture hat to match, and carried an arm bouquet of bride's roses showered with lilies of the valley. Miss Helen Bernadette STYPERK was her sister's bridesmaid, and wore a suit of dark blue tricotine with hat to match and and
[sic] had a corsage bouquet of pink rose buds. Chester ASHTON of Oakdale was Mr. POMME's best man. A wedding breakfast at the home of the bride followed the ceremony. A centerpice
[sic] of pink and white roses adorned the bride's table, at which covers were laid for twenty-five. Mr. and Mrs. POMME left Wednesday evening for an extended Eastern trip, and on their return will reside at 200 East Raynor avenue, Syracuse, N. Y. Mr. POMME is an auto mechanic employed by the Magnet Tire Co. of State street, Syracuse, N. Y.
