Mrs. Susan MALT of Irwin [Pa] and Mr. S. Wilson PEASE of McDonald [Pa]
were united in marriage on Wednesday, June 4, 1941. They will reside in
Irwin [Pa]. Mr. PEASE is a native of Oakdale [Pa] and until he moved to McDonald
[Pa] to reside with his sister, Mrs. W. L. ELLIOTT, had been a resident of Washington
[Pa] for forty years.

PEDICORD - ALISON
Miss Adah Smith Alison, daughter of the Rev. Alexander and Mrs. Alison, Jr., Bridgeport, Conn., and the Rev. Harry William
Pedicord, son of Mr. and Mrs. Harry L. Pedicord of
Hickory [Pa], were united in marriage at 4:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 23, 1939, in the First Presbyterian church, Bridgeport. The ceremony was performed by the bride's father, assisted by her brother, the Rev. Valentine Smith Alison of Tolland, Conn., before an altar decorated with palms, lilies, and white gladioli. The bride was gowned in a white lace bodice with V neck and long sleeves pointed over the back of the hand and a lace bouffant skirt with net insertions extending from the waist the train. She carried a shower type bouquet of white gardenias, stephanotis and orchids. Her twin sister, Mrs. Walter Earle
Witsil, as matron of honor, wore a cornflower
blue lace dress modeled after the bride's dress with a large bodice and bouffant skirt with net insertions. She wore a blue taffeta hat with face veil and carried a bouquet of pale pink delphinium with touches of blue delphinium. The bridesmaids, Miss Christine Alison, sister of the bride, and Miss Grace
Pedicord, sister of the bridegroom, wore gowns of pink point d'esprit with princess necklines and bouffant skirts trimmed with a cornflower blue bow. They wore pink net hats with blue taffeta streamers. Their bouquets were of dark blue delphinium with touches of pink. Mary Katherine Alison and Katherine Anna Brockway, nieces of
the bride, were the flower girls and were gowned in white net accordian pleated dresses with cornflower blue velvet sashes and
hairbows. They carried tiny baskets of variegated flowers. The Rev. David R. Bluhm of Amity
[Pa] served as bestman. A reception followed in the church.
The bride is a graduate of Central High School, Bridgeport, and of Wilson college, Chambersburg. The bridegroom is executive minister of the Church of the
Convenant, Erie, a graduate of Washington and Jefferson
college [sic. in Washington Pa], of the Theological Seminary of Princeton
university [sic], and of Western Reserve university [sic] of Cleveland. Following a motor trip through New England, the young couple will reside in
Erie [Pa].

TAYLOR - PEDICORD.
[ PEDICORD is the Groom. ]
A prettily appointed wedding took place Saturday evening, June 2, 1917, at the home of Mr. and Mrs. John Samuel TAYLOR of Oakdale, when their daughter Helen Emily, was united in marriage with Walter J.
PEDICORD. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. G. A. FRANTZ, pastor of the First Presbyterian Church of Oakdale, in the presence of the immediate families and a few friends. After an Eastern wedding trip Mr. and Mrs. PEDICORD will be at home after July first at Oakdale.

PEFFER - MALONE
Miss Wannetta MALONE, granddaughter of J. M. MALONE of Hickory, and Clarence E. PEFFER, son of George PEFFER
Cleveland, Ohio, were united in marriage at 5:00 p.m. Sunday, November 2, 1947, in the manse of the Church of Christ,
Burgettstown. The Rev. UPDEGRAFF performed the double ring ceremony.
The bride wore a cinnamon brown gabardine suit with an aqua blouse with a gold beaded necklace and dark brown accessories
and a corsage of talisman roses tied with blue velvet ribbon. In
carrying out the wedding traditions she wore a bracelet which belonged to the mother of the bridegroom, for something old. For
something borrowed she carried a lace handkerchief from Australia belonging to the bridesmaid, Mrs. Leonard McBURNEY, who wore
a tan gabardine suit with black accessories and a corsage of
American Beauty roses. Leonard McBURNEY served as bestman for Mr. PEFFER.
Following the ceremony a dinner was held in the home of the bridegroom's uncle and aunt, Mr. and Mrs. James PEFFER in
Newark, Ohio.
Mr. and Mrs. PEFFER are both employed by the Pennsylvania Railroad Co. They are now residing in Dresden, Ohio.
