PATTERSON - COOK

Miss Hilda J. COOK, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lee H. COOK of New Galilee, Beaver county, and A.M.M. 2/c Jack W. PATTERSON of Maple avenue, Oakdale, were united in marriage at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, June 15, 1944, in the First Presbyterian church, Oakdale, by the pastor, the Rev. H. Carlyle CARSON.

The attendants were Edward PATTERSON, brother of the bridegroom, and Miss Mary Louise MOSS.

The bridegroom, a tail gunner on a navy bomber, was home on furlough following combat duty in the Southwest Pacific.

On Thursday evening, Oct. 13th, by Rev. Mr. ENGLISH, at the residence of the bride's father, in South Fayette township, Mr. James PATTERSON, of Willow Grove, and Miss Jennie T. KIRK.

Numerous guests were present on this occasion, and many elegant and valuable presents were made. A detailed report sent in can not be got in type.
