Miss Emma MARTINO, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John MARTINO, Sr., of
Washington, Pa., and Mr. August PASSIEU, son of Mr. and Mrs. Fernand
PASSIEU of Cecil [Pa], were united in marriage at one o'clock Monday
afternoon, December 25, 1939, in Old St. Patrick's church, Pittsburgh
[Pa], the Rev. Fr. James COX officiating.
The bride wore a blue afternoon dress with pink accessories and a
turban. Her corsage was of red and yellow roses. The bridesmaid, Mrs.
Rose GALLAGHER, a sister of the bride, who at this wedding reception
announced her marriage of Thanksgiving day, wore a pink afternoon dress
with blue accessories and a turban. Her corsage was of pink and yellow
roses. Mr. Charles PASSIEU of Cecil [Pa], brother of the bridegroom,
served as bestman. The bride's mother wore a green afternoon dress with
black accessories and the bridegroom's mother chose black with gold
accessories.
Following the ceremony, a wedding dinner was served in the home of the bridegroom's aunt, Mrs. Eugene
CHAUSSARD. There were about fifty guests with fourteen seated at the bride's table. A large wedding cake formed the table

Miss Marian KELLY of Baltimore and Sgt. Stephen PASTOREK of Oakdale were married Wednesday, June 10, 1942, at Ft. Sill, Okla.
A surprise party was held October 10 in Oakdale by friends and relatives. Mrs.
PASTOREK, Sr., served lunch. The couple received a number of gifts. Present were Mrs. COOLRIDGE and daughters Jean, Dorothy, and Mary of Crafton, sisters, Jean MEISTER and husband, and Harry and Mary THOMPSON of Pittsburgh, Mrs. Anna COOLRIDGE and daughters Marlene and Dorothy of Crafton, Joseph and Charles PASTOREK of Oakdale, Mr. and Mrs. Jack MATTICKS of Aliquippa, Irma SCHREIBER of Carnegie, the Joseph KARGLES and daughter of Midway, and Rose

Miss Louise POSKIN, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William POSKIN of Valley street, and Thomas PATER were quietly married at eight o'clock Thursday evening, March 20, 1924, in St. Patrick's church, Noblestown, the Rev. Fr. D. J. COX officiating. The bride wore a dark blue traveling suit with hat to match and wore a corsage of brides roses. Mrs. Edward SMITH of East Lincoln avenue was Miss POSKIN's matron of honor and wore a gray traveling suit with a hat to match and wore a corsage of sweet peas. Frank MUCKALE of Valley street, a brother-in-law of the bridegroom, served as best man. Mr. and Mrs. PATER will reside in Valley street where they have a home furnished ready to occupy.

PAGTRANDREA - NICOLA
Miss Melinda NICOLA, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Angelo NICOLA of Bishop, and Mr. Paul PATRANDREA of Koppel, Beaver county, were united in marriage at ten o'clock Saturday, November 25, 1939, in the Catholic church, Koppel, the Rev. Fr. MALONEY officiating.
The bride, given in marriage by her father, was gowned in white chiffon trimmed in silver with a finger-tip veil. She carried white lilies. The bridesmaids, Miss Mary KAVATI of Canonsburg, Miss Anna MONACO of Cecil, and Miss Jean MANGERIE of Koppel, were attired in pink colonial gowns and carried red roses. They wore wreaths with shoulder veil and silver slippers. The matron of honor, Marian TAVERN, wore blue with silver bodice and a blue hat with streamers, and carried tea roses. The flower girls, Rosemary
DePAOLI, Bonnielee BARRIL, and Dorothy Jane TACCHINO, wore pink gowns with pink bonnets and carried colonial bouquets. Mr. Frank TAVERN served as
bestman. Mr. Clifford BYERS of Koppel played the wedding music.
A reception followed in the Italian hall, Koppel. There were about 200 guests with 18 seated at the bride's table. The young couple took a trip to New York and Niagara Falls and will reside in Beaver Falls. Mrs. PATRANDREA graduated from Mayview Nursing school. Mr.
PATANDREA, a graduate of Elmwood high school, is a machinist in the Beaver steel mill.

A very pretty wedding took place on Thursday, June 14, 1928, in Campbell Avenue Methodist Episcopal church, Detroit, Mich., when Miss Grace L. JERICHO, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John T. JERICHO of 2131 Clark avenue, Detroit, became the bride of Edward H. PATRICK, son of Mr. and Mrs. James PATRICK of
Motherwell, Scotland. The Rev. Joseph DUTTON performed the ceremony. The bride wore a white satin gown trimmed with lace. She had a long flowing veil of tulle and carried a shower bouquet of white roses and lilies of the valley. The bridesmaid was Miss Phyllis WARD of McKinstry avenue, Detroit. She wore a dress of orchid taffeta and carried a bouquet of ophelia roses. Mr. Jack
McARDLE, late of Airdrie, Scotland, acted as best man, and Mr. William JERICHO, a brother of the bride, and Mr. Jack BLEIL seated the guests. A supper and reception was held in the church parlors and over one hundred guests attended. Miss JERICHO is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. R.D. On Thursday evening, August 25, 1921, at eight o'clock, in the parlor of the William Penn hotel, Pittsburgh, the marriage of Miss Evelyn B.
KARNS, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A. D. KARNS of McDonald and Clark W. PATSCH, son of Mr. and Mrs. L. C. PATSCH of Houston, was
solemnized by a Pittsburgh minister. Miss Lou KARNS was her sister's bridesmaid and Leo WRIGHT of
Burgettstown acted as best man.
The bride was gowned in a handsome traveling costume of blue and wore a corsage of bride's roses. Miss KARNS also wore dark blue and her flowers were pink roses. Following the ceremony Mr. and Mrs. PATSCH left on an extended motor trip to Canada. Upon their return they will go to housekeeping in Pike street, Houston, and will be at home to their friends after September tenth.
