A quiet home wedding was celebrated at eleven o'clock Tuesday morning, June 22, 1926, in the home of Dr. and Mrs. Dwight E. ORWIG, when their daughter, Sara Brown ORWIG, became the bride of Charles C. OSBURN, son of Mr. and Mrs. W. J. OSBURN of New Castle. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. B.F. HEANY, pastor of the First Presbyterian church of McDonald. The bride was gowned in silk taffeta with French lace. Following the ceremony a wedding breakfast was served in the home of the bride's parents.  Covers were laid for fourteen at the bride's table. The out-of-town guests included Mr. and Mrs. C. W. BENEDICT and daughter Beverly of Titusville, W. J. OSBURN, Mr. and Mrs. George MEYER of
New Castle, Mr. and Mrs. W. H. SHIMM, Mr. and Mrs. T. W. GREER of Carnegie, Mr. and Mrs. 
F. M. OSBURN of Cleveland, Ohio. After an Eastern motor trip Mr. and Mrs. OSBURN
will be at home at 217 North Third street, McDonald.

On Tuesday morning, October 9th, at 7:30 o'clock Miss Christine STAMPFLY, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Victor STAMPFLY, Sr., became the bride of Mr. Vincent C. O'SHEA, son of Mrs. Mary O'SHEA, of Pittsburgh. The ceremony was performed in St. Alphonsus Catholic church, the Rev. Father Joseph A. BURGOON officiating.

The bride wore a traveling suit of blue with hat to match and carried sweetheart roses, showered with lilies of the valley. She was attended by Miss Gertrude MAXWELL, of Oakdale, who also wore a traveling suit of blue with hat to match and carried American Beauty roses. The groom was attended by his brother, D. J. O'SHEA.

After the wedding the party left by auto for Pittsburgh where a wedding breakfast was served in the William Penn hotel. The happy couple left Tuesday evening on a honey-moon trip of three weeks in New York and other eastern points.
