On Tuesday morning, October 31, 1922, at 7:30 o'clock in St. Alphonsus' church, McDonald, took place the marriage of Miss Leona STRUTH, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John STRUTH of Primrose, and Mr. John OPENBRIER, son of Mr. and Mrs. Oliver OPENBRIER of Midway. The ceremony was solemnized before a nuptian mass by the Rev. Father Joseph A. BURGOON. Miss Amelia STRUTH, sister of the bride, was bridesmaid, and Henry STRUTH, brother of the bride, acted as best man. The bride wore a dark brown traveling suit with hat to match. The bridesmaid wore a medium blue suit with a gray and blue hat. Mr. and Mrs. OPENBRIER left on the 10:36 train for Columbus, Ohio, and will be at home to their friends after November sixth in Midway.

Miss Rose POSKIN of McDonald and Mr. Oliver OPENBRIER of Primrose were married in Wellsburg, W. Va., on Wednesday, June 29, 1921. Immediately after the ceremony was performed they returned to McDonald and a wedding reception was held in their honor at the home of the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Alexander POSKIN, in Valley street. The young couple will go to housekeeping in a house which they have furnished in Orchard street, McDonald.

Miss Evelyn Grace VEZIE, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas VEZIE of Fannie street, McDonald, and William Richard OPENBRIER, son of Mrs. Mary OPENBRIER of Primrose, were united in marriage Saturday morning, May 15, 1937, in Wellsburg, the Rev. Mr. Frayer officiating. The newlyweds are at home at 327 South Central avenue, Canonsburg. Miss VEZIE is a graduate of McDonald high, class of 1936, and took part in the athletics of the school.

Mrs. John BRABSON of Center avenue, Midway, announces the marriage of her sister, Miss Mary Lou BELL, to William OPENBRIER of McDonald. 
The wedding took place at 7:30 p.m. January 11, 1947, in the parsonage of the Midway Methodist church with the pastor, the Rev. H. Paul SMITH performing the single ring ceremony. The bride wore a poudre blue dress with black and white accessories and a corsage of white gardenias. The maid of honor, Miss Dorothy MOORE of Midway, wore a blue dress with black accessories and a corsage of white gardenias. Felix RUSISKI of McDonald served as bestman. Mary Lou, a 1944 graduate of the Midway high school, is affiliated with the Hospital Service association. The bridegroom served four years in the army part of which was spent in the European theater. He is employed by the FARRAR & NAGODE Coal Co. The young couple are residing in McDonald.
