Miss Oma WEBSTER, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John WEBSTER, of Sturgeon, and Richard NIXON, of Steubenville, were quietly married at Wellsburg on
Thursday, August 9th. They are at home in Steubenville where the groom is engaged in the printing business.

NOAH - SAUERS
Dr. Joseph Cyril NOAH and Miss Ethel SAUERS, both of Imperial, were married Monday, December 12, 1938, in Washington, D. C.
In the evening there was a reception in the bride's home on Route 22. Several hundred guests were present.

NOBLE - BISH
Miss Mary Jane BISH of the Eastend, Pittsburgh, daughter of Clarence
BISH of
Primrose, and Cpl. James R. NOBLE of the Marine corps, stationed at Camp
Lejeune, New River, N.C., son of Charles Noble of Burgettstown, were united in
marriage at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, December 25, 1943, in the Methodist chapel at
the base, Camp Lejeune, by Lieutenant HOLCOMB.
The bride wore a winter green transparent velvet suit with a green velvet hat and
brown accessories. She wore a corsage of pink and white carnations. The
maid of honor was Pfc. Jean EDMONDS, a woman marine at Milwaukee, Wis. Other
attendants were Pfc. Arthur CONTU, stationed at Hartford, Conn. with the marines
and Pfc. John LEONARD, with the marines at Wellsburg, W.Va. The church organist
played the Marine hymn, also "O Promise Me," and "I love You Truly."
Mrs. NOBLE attended Hickory high school. Corporal NOBLE , a 1939
graduate of Midway high school, attended Washington and Jefferson college for two years. Before
enlisting in the marines, he was employed at the Republic Aviation, Long Island, N.Y.
He graduates in February from the Marine electrician's school. Mrs.
NOBLE will
reside with her father and also in Pittsburgh.

Thanksgiving morning. A wedding breakfast will be served at the Pike hotel at noon and a wedding dinner will be served in the home of the
bridegroom's sister, Mrs. Slyvester GOWER, in the evening.
