Miss Vivian Annette YEANY, an instructor in the Hickory Vocational school for the past three years, and J. Ernest NACHOD, Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. J. Ernest NACHOD of Wyncote, were married Saturday evening, August 22. The ceremony was performed at 6 o'clock in the St. Matthew Lutheran church, Bloomsburg, by the Rev. Dr. Norman S. WOLF, before an altar banked with Easter lilies and lighted candles.

The bride, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Norman Ash YEANY of Bloomsburg, Pa., for the past three years was the commercial teacher in the Hickory school. The bridegroom is a graduate of Pennsylvania State college and he is employed in the laboratories of the DuPont Co., Wilmington Del.

Miss Frances Jane PINTAR and Frank NAGODA, both of Midway, were united in marriage on Wednesday, July 27. There were about fifty present at the ceremony. The wedding dinner was served at six o'clock at the home of the bride's parents, with covers laid for eighteen at the bride's table. The table was very prettily decorated with flowers. After a trip to Niagara Falls, Detroit and Canada they will make their home with Mr. NAGODA's parents.

On Wednesday afternoon, July 27, 1927, the marriage of Miss Frances Jane PINTAR and Mr. Frank NAGODE, both of Midway, took place. At six o'clock that evening dinner was served at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Frank PINTAR. About fifty guests were present. Covers were laid for eighteen at the bride's table, which was beautifully decorated with summer flowers. Mr. and Mrs. Frank NAGODE will make their home with Mr. NAGODE'S parents upon their return from a wedding trip to Niagara Falls, Detroit, Mich., and Canada.

Miss Mary Ellen SMITH, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A. C. SMITH of Carnegie, formerly of McDonald, and Joseph NAGY, son of Mrs. Margaret NAGY of Carnegie, were united in marriage Saturday evening, May 31, 1947, in the United Presbyterian church, Carnegie. 

The bride wore a white organdy gown with long train and a fingertip veil and she carried an arm bouquet of white lilies. The maid of honor, Miss Margaret SMITH, sister of the bride, wore pink organdy and the bridesmaid, Miss LaVerne WINDSHEIMER, cousin of the bride, wore blue organdy with matching accessories. Alex NAGY, brother of the bridegroom, served as bestman and F. C. TODINO was the usher.

Following the ceremony, a reception was held in the Fireman's club, Glendale, for 250 guests. Upon their return from a wedding trip to Union City, N. J., they will be at home in Washington avenue, Carnegie.
