The ceremony was performed by the Rev. W. E. ASHBROOK, of Hubbard, Ohio, a cousin of the bride, and he was assisted by the bridegroom's grandfather, the Rev. J. J. MUIR, D.D. of Washington D. C.  Tall standards of palms and delphinium with fern, tied with white ribbon, marked the bridal path through the halls and parlor to the altar in the library where was an embankment of palms, cibotium, crotons and ferns. Preceding the ceremony Miss Hazel SPEER played Grieg's "To Spring." Mc Dowell's "To a Wild Rose," and the "Bridal Chorus" from Lohengrin.

The bride, who was given in marriage by her father, wore a gown of white chiffon, heavily beaded with crystal, over white satin.  Her veil, fashioned entrain, was arranged in cap effect and was trimmed with orange blossoms from her mother's wedding gown.  Her bouquet was of pink and white roses, showered with lilies of the valley. Mrs. Paul N. JORDAN of Bellwood, a sister of the bride was matron of honor. Mrs. JORDAN wore a gown of American Beauty georgette and carried sweetheart roses. Miss Louise SHANE, sister of the bride, Miss Stella WAGENFEHR, a college friend, were the
bridesmaids. Miss SHANE'S gown was pink chiffon and she carried premiere roses.  Miss WAGENFEHR wore yellow georgette and carried yellow roses. Dr. Paul N. JORDAN and Jack SHANE, brother-in-law and brother of the bride, were the ushers.  Mr. MUIR was attended by his brother, Brockett MUIR, of Chevy Chase.

Both families received at the reception following the ceremony. Mrs. SHANE wore
a gown of powder blue georgette, beaded, and Mrs. MUIR wore a gown of orchid georgette, trimmed with gold lace and beads. At dinner, covers were laid for seventeen at the bride's table. The centerpiece was a basket of pink roses and sweet peas.

Mr. and Mrs. MUIR left the same evening for a short trip, returning Saturday to prepare to sail July fourth on the steamer Leviathan, for Scotland and a tour of the Continent. On their return from abroad, about September fourth they will go to St. Paul, Minn., where Mr. MUIR has been called to assist Dr Swearingen at the Church of Hope.

The bride graduated from McDonald high school in 1921, and from the Pennsylvania College for Women, Pittsburgh, June 15, 1925. Mr. MUIR graduated from W. & J. College in 1922, and from the Western Theological Seminary last month.
