On Thursday morning, September 14th, 1922 at 8:30 o'clock, Miss Mary Elizabeth PHILLIPS, daughter of Mr. Delmont PHILLIPS of East State street, Oakdale and Mr. Arthur Elwood MOWL of Aurora, Ohio, son of Mrs. Augusta MOWL of Bedford, Ohio, were united in marriage in the home of the bride by the Rev. W. D. LEWIS, pastor of the First Presbyterian church. Mr. and Mrs. MOWL will reside in Aurora, Ohio where Mr. MOWL is engaged in the Garage business.

Mr. and Mrs. L. A. BOTTAMER of Geauga Lake, Ohio, announce the marriage of their daughter Jean Irene to Delmont MOWL, son of Mr. and Mrs. A. E.
MOWL of Aurora, Ohio. The ceremony was performed July 18, 1942, by the Rev. Allan Scott FIELD, at New Cumberland, W. Va. The couple was attended by Miss Jean FRITZ and Edward KOHLER, both of Geauga Lake.
Mrs. MOWL is a graduate of Aurora high school. Mr. MOWL also graduated from Aurora and attended Kent State university. He is now employed by the National Acme Co. of Cleveland, and the couple is at home in Cleveland.--

Delmont PHILLIPS of The Oakdale Times, and a great-grandson of Fulton

MOWL - THOMPSON
A simple but beautiful wedding ceremony was solemnized Saturday, June 15, 1935, at 4 o'clock, when Miss Martha C. THOMPSON of Canonsburg became the bride of J. Blaine MOWL of Washington. The ceremony was performed in their newly-furnished home at 29 Victoria street, Washington, before an altar of ferns and palms, by the Rev. W. K. THOMPSON of Bulter
[sic], uncle of the bride, and the Rev. J. B. WILLSON of the Reformed Presbyterian church, Cecil. Only members of the immediate families were present. The bride was beautifully attired in peach-colored net. Her corsage was of roses and
lilies-of-the-valley. The attendants were Miss Lorena THOMPSON of Pittsburgh, a sister of the bride, Frank B. MOWL of Washington, Mrs. H. S. MCBRIDE of
Bowerstown, Ohio, and Wilson HAYS of Washington. The bride, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George THOMPSON of R. D.,
canonsburg, is well known as a school teacher in the Bridgeville schools.
The bridegroom is employed as a machinist in the Altas Glass factory.

MOYER - MONTAGNA
Miss Edith E. MONTAGNA, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Marshall MONTAGNA of Cecil, and Albert R. MOYER, son of A. R. MOYER, SR., of McKees Rocks, were united in marriage at 11;00 o'clock Wednesday morning, June 21, 1939, in the Venice U. P. parsonage, the Rev. C. T. LITTELL, officiating.
The bride wore a gown of white marquisette with a veil. Her flowers were white roses and lilies of the valley. The maid of honor, Miss Frances MONTAGNA, wore a pink gown with matching accessories and a short veil. The bridesmaid, Miss Anna MONACO, wore a peach gown with matching accessories and short veil. Mr. Joseph PASLAUSKI of McKees Rocks served as bestman. A dinner was served in the bride's home to 45 guests, ten seated at the bride's table. Mrs. MOYER attended the Cecil high school.
