Miss Ann RATTI, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John RATTI of Gladden, and Joseph MORTORANA, son of Mr. and Mrs. Anthony MORTORANA of Cecil, were untied in marriage at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday, August 28, 1940, in a church in Wellsburg, W.Va. The bride wore a blue street-length dress with white accessories. The bridesmaid, Naomi SLOKA of Gladden, wore a gray street-length dress with white accessories. The bestman was Joseph SLOKA of Gladden. Mrs. MORTORANA attended the South Fayette schools and Mr. MOTORANA the Cecil schools. He is employed by the National Mining Co. at Sygan. The young couple are residing in Cecil.

Mr. and Mrs. John B. SALMON of Midway announce the marriage __ their daughter Miss Frances ____SALMON and ?] Francis MORTREY, son of Mr. and [Mrs.] Edward MORTREY of McDonald, [which?] was solemnized in the home of [the] bridegroom's parents at 5:30 o'clock Saturday evening, July 28, 1934. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. L. G. RICHEY.  Miss Zela MORTREY, sister of the bridegroom, was bridesmaid, and Edward SALMON, brother of the bride was best man. After the ceremony, dinner was served to thirty-two guests. The young couple will reside in McDonald.

Miss Bertha WILSON of West Main street, Carnegie, daughter of Mrs. Clyde WATTON of Bulger, and Mr. Louis C. MORTREY, son of Mrs. Lillian MORTREY of East Lincoln avenue, McDonald, were united in marriage at two o'clock Tuesday afternoon, May 30, 1939, in the home of the Rev. James J. BUELL, pastor of the McDonald Methodist church. The bride was attired in a white suit with matching accessories and wore a corsage of sweet peas and roses. The bridesmaid, Miss Stella STETENSKY of Carnegie, wore a white suit with matching accessories and a corsage of sweet peas and roses. Mr. William OBNEY of Carnegie served as bestman.  Mr. and Mrs. Edward MORTREY and Mrs. Lillian MORTREY and daughter Miss Rickey [MORTREY] were also in the wedding party.  After the ceremony, a wedding dinner was served in the MORTREY home. Mr. and Mrs. MORTREY will reside at present with his mother. Mr. MONTREY [sic=MORTREY ] is employed at Montour No. 9.

Miss Jane Elizabeth HOLAND, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Albert E. HOLAND of Dormont, and Pvt. Robert H. Moss, son of Mrs. Maude F. MOSS of Fayette street, Oakdale, were united in marriage Sunday afternoon, October 18, 1942, in the parsonage of the Baptist church, Florence, S.C., by the pastor, the Rev. W. A. ALEXANDER.

The bride's mother, her aunt from Long Beach, Calif., and Sgt. Glenn SHAW of San Francisco, Calif., witnessed the ceremony.

A wedding dinner was served at Hotel Florence, S.C.

The couple reside in New River, S.C., where Private MOSS is stationed at the Marine base. He is a 1935 graduate of Oakdale high school.
