MORICE - VINCENTI
Mrs. Theresa VINCENTI of Philadelphia announces the marriage of her daughter Genevieve
Elizabeth to Mr. Richard MORICE, also of Philadelphia. The wedding took place in the Most
Blessed Sacrament church, 56th and Chester avenue, Philadelphia, at half-past two Saturday, June 30, 1928. The bride wore a gown of white crepe chiffon, large white picture hat
with gloves and slippers to match, and carried a shower of white roses and lilies of the
valley. Her sister Miss Eleanor was bridesmaid, and she wore a gown of orchid georgette
with ecru lace and gloves of ecru, and carried French tearoses [sic] with orchid streamers. Mr.
William R. BORSKA of Philadelphia was best man. After the ceremony a reception was held in the blue room of the Hotel Rittenhouse. Mr. and Mrs. MORICE left for Montreal and other
points in Canada. They will be at home at 5444 Warrington avenue after July 15th, until
their home is completed. The VINCENTIS are former residents of McDonald.
T. J. VINCENTI of McDonald is a brother of the bride.

Mr. and Mrs. John W. HUGHES of Bedford, Pa. announce the marriage of
their sister [which? of the Mr.? or the Mrs.? ], Flora Friday GURLEY of
Pittsburgh [Pa] to Dr. Riehard J. MORONEY of McDonald, Pa. on Thursday
morning at 7 o'clock in St. Thomas Church, Bedford Pa. The
marriage was solemnized by Rev. Father William E. DOWNS. There were no
attendants owing to the recent deaths in both families. After a southern
trip, Mr. MORONEY and his bride will be at home, May 1st in the AK__

GROSS - MORRIS
[ MORRIS is the groom. ]
Miss Catherine GROSS and Charles MORRIS, two well known young people of Waynesburg, were married on Wednesday, September 12. The ceremony was performed in the home of the officiating minister, Rev. James Edgar WILSON, pastor of the First Presbyterian church of Waynesburg.
Following the ceremony a wedding dinner was served. The bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William GROSS of Elm street, Waynesburg. She is a graduate of the Waynesburg High school with the class of 1926, and for the last two years has been a student in Waynesburg college. She is also a talented musician.
Mrs. MORRIS is well known in McDonald for having lived here for a number of years. Mr. and Mrs. MORRIS will reside in Waynesburg, where Mr. MORRIS is engaged in the grocery business.
