The couple were married Friday December 24, 1943, at Richmond, Va. The attendants were the bride's uncle and aunt, Sgt. and Mrs. Alexander J. PENDERVILLE.

MISKALITZ - CHARRIERE

Miss Yvonne CHARRIERE, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Emile V. CHARRIERE of Farrell, formerly of McDonald, and Mr. John A. MISKALITZ, son of Mr. and Mrs. Paul MISKALITZ, also of Farrell, were united in marriage at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, June 15, 1940, in St. Paul's Episcopal church, Farrell, the Rev. Sisto NOCE performing the ceremony before an altar of flowers. 

The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a gown of white mousseline over satin, princess style with short puffed sleeves, and a V-shaped neck with lace. The veil was held by a mousseline coronet and she had a long veil. Her accessories were white and her bouquet was of calla lilies. The maid of honor, Miss Sarah VOSHELL of Farrell
wore a pink gown with puffed sleeves, a tight-fitted waistline, and full skirt. She carried red roses and lilies. The bridesmaid, Miss Ida VARRO of Farrell, wore blue taffeta with pink accessories and carried a mixed bouquet. The junior bridesmaid, Miss Yvette CHARRIERE of Farrell, wore an aqua organdy gown and carried a colonial bouquet. Mr. Frank MISKALITZ of Farrell, brother of the bridegroom, served as bestman and Mr. Joseph NOVOCAL was the usher. Miss Mary DAVIES sang "I Love You Truly" and "Oh Promise Me." The Rev. Mr. NEIVER played the wedding music. 

Following the ceremony, a reception was held in the church basement. There were 60 guests. Another reception was held in the evening. The young couple took a trip to Akron, Cleveland, and other Ohio cities and are now at home at 601 Emerson avenue, Farrell. Mrs. MISKALITZ is a 1937 graduate of Farrell high school and her husband graduated in 1935. He is a storeroom attendant at the Westinghouse Manufacturing Co.

Out-of-town guests at the ceremony included Mrs. August RICHARD, Sr., Mr. and Mrs. August RICHARD, Jr., and children, Mr. and Mrs. Roger GAILLARD and children, Mr. and Mrs. Lynford LYNCH, Mr. and Mrs. Emile FAGES, Mr. and Mrs. Albert FAGES and children, and Mr. and Mrs. Marius DATHUEYT, all of McDonald, Mr. and Mrs. Zoel FAGES and children....  [the rest is missing].

Miss Helen L. RITCHEY, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James H. RITCHEY, Glenwillard, became the bride of Stanley D. MIXTER, Coraopolis R. D., on Saturday afternoon, August 24, 1946, at a single-ring ceremony performed by the Rev. L. S. MERSHIMER in the Nazarene church, Coraopolis.

The bride, given in marriage by her brother, Gerald RITCHEY, was attired in a two-piece pale pink gabardine suit and wore a corsage of white roses. For something "old" she carried a lace handkerchief which belonged to her mother. She chose her sister-in-law, Mrs. Clarence NOLTE, Coraopolis, as her maid of honor, and her bridesmaids were Miss Goldie WEAVER of Sharon, Mrs. Gerald RITCHEY of Glenwillard, and Miss Betty THORNHILL of Stoops Ferry. They wore street-length dresses of green, gold, pink, and blue crepe, respectively, and each wore a corsage of red roses. The bride's mother chose pink crepe and the bridegroom's mother chose navy blue crepe. Each wore a shoulder corsage of pink roses. Russell MIXTER of Coraopolis was his brother's bestman and William MIXTER and Alonzo THORNHILL of Coraopolis were ushers.

Mrs. E. B. BEAVERS, Coraopolis, sang "Because" and "I Love You Truly," accompanied at the piano by Mrs. Max KERCHER, McKees Rocks. 

A reception for 150 guests was held at six o'clock at the Coraopolis borough park. The couple will reside on Ridge avenue, Coraopolis.

The marriage of Miss Maude DONALDSON, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William DONALDSON of Bavington, to Walter MIZER of Pittsburg [sic], was solemnized Wednesday afternoon at 3 o?clock. The wedding was a quiet home affair and only a few of the bride?s most intimate friends were present. Miss Stella Mae MOODY of Crafton was bridesmaid, while Mr. FIREBAUGH of Pittsburg [sic] acted as best man. Immediately after the ceremony the bridal couple left for Crafton where they have a new home already furnished.
