ROBERTSON - McCAFFERY.
[ McCAFFERY is the Groom. ]
A pretty wedding took place at nine o'clock Wednesday evening, April 31, 1924, in the rectory of Our Lady of Lourdes church, Burgettstown, when Ilah Cathryn ROBERTSON, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Oley C. ROBERTSON of Eldersville, became the bride of Ambrose Joseph McCAFFERY of Eldersville. The Rev. Fr. William McCASHIN officiated. The bride wore a blue traveling suit with hat to match and carried a shower bouquet of brides roses and sweet peas. Miss Sherred BENNETT of Sturgeon was Miss ROBERTSON's maid of honor and wore a blue traveling suit with hat to match and wore a corsage of white rosebuds and sweet peas. Lawrence McCAFFERY of North street served as his brother's best man. Mr. and Mrs. McCAFFERY will reside at 149 North street for the present.
Mr. McCAFFERY is employed by the W. H. Shinn Coal company at Eldersville.

GAITENS - McCAFFERY
[ McCAFFERY is the Groom. ]
A very pretty wedding was solemnized at nine o'clock Wednesday morning, June 27, 1923, in St. Patrick's Roman Catholic church,
Noblestown, when Miss Margaret M. GAITENS, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert GAITENS of Sturgeon, became the bride of Francis
McCAFFERY, son of Mr. and Mrs. James McCAFFERY of Laurel hill. The Rev. Fr. D. J. COX officiated. The bride, who was given in marriage by her father, wore a gown of white georgette crepe, and a cornet veil arranged in cap effect and caught with orange blossoms and carried a shower bouquet of white roses showered with lilies of the valley. Miss Mary GAITENS was her sister's maid of honor and wore a gown of turquois blue chiffon trimmed with cream lace and wore a leghorn hat. She carried an arm bouquet of tea roses. Francis MALOY of
Harmanville, cousin of the bride, served as Mr. McCAFFERY'S best man. Mrs.
GAITENS, mother of the bride, appeared in a gown of taffeta silk. Thomas DOBBINS and Henry DOBBINS of Harmarville were the ushers. The wedding party entered the church and marched to the altar to the strains of Lohemgrin's "Bridal Chorus," played by Miss Hazel ASHTON of Oakdale. Mr. James DUFFY of Noblesbown sang "Oh Promise Me," and Mr. John DUFFY of Noblestown sang "Ave Maria," A wedding breakfast and reception at the home of the bride's parents followed the ceremony at which one hundred guests were present. Covers were laid for nine at the bride's table, on which a large wedding cake was the centerpiece. The house was tastefully decorated in pink and white. Mr. and Mrs. McCAFFERY left the same day for a wedding trip to Erie and Cleveland and upon their return will reside in Sturgeon.
Mr. McCAFFERY is employed by the Carnegie Coal company at the Primrose mine.

BENNETT - McCAFFERY
[ McCAFFERY is the Groom. ]
Miss Cherie Louise BENNETT, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank BENNETT of Sturgeon, became the bride of Lawrence J. McCAFFERY of McDonald, before a nuptial mass sung by the Rev. Fr. D. J. COX in St. Patrick's church, Noblestown, at nine o'clock Tuesday morning, September 14, 1926. The bridal party entered the church to the stains of the wedding march from Lohengrin, played by Mrs. J. WILSON. The bride was attired in a white canton crepe gown and wore a veil of tulle caught by a wreath of orange blossoms. She carried a shower bouquet of lilies of the valley and brides' roses. Miss Florence LUCOT of Strathely Place was bridesmaid, and she appeared in a coral gown with large picture hat to match, and carried pink roses. Charles MORAN of McDonald was best man. During the ceremony Mrs. J. E. SLACK sang a selection. Following the ceremony breakfast was served at the home of the bride's parents, at which fifty-six guests were present. Covers were laid for eight at the bride's table, the centerpiece of which was a bride's cake. Mr. and Mrs. McCAFFERY left that evening by auto for a trip through Ohio, Michigan, and to the Great Lakes. On their return they will reside in Sturgeon.
