The marriage of Miss Sarah E. McKenzie, daughter of James W. McKenzie of R. D. 1, Clinton, and Joseph Albert
Matchett, Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph A. Matchett of R. D. 1, Bulger, took place in the home of the officiating clergyman, the Rev. Arthur Tipton, at Ludlow, Ky., on Wednesday, September 4, 1940. The bride was attired in a brown crepe dress with matching accessories. She is a graduate of the Frankfort high school and the bridegroom is a graduate of Midway high school. Mr. Matchett is employed by the Midway Mutual Telephone Co. After October 1, Mr. and Mrs. Matchett will be at home in Prospect street, Midway.

MATEER ? SCHIEFELBEIN
Miss Freda SCHIEFELBEIN, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William SCHIEFELBEIN of R. D. 2, Coraopolis, and George
MATEER, son of Mr. and Mrs. James MATEER of Monaca, were married at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, June 17, 1941 in the bride?s home. The Rev. Clarence E.
DAVISON performed the ceremony on the lawn before an arbor of red roses.
The bride wore a blue silk marquisette gown with lace bands. Her flowers were blue delphinium and yellow rose buds, tied with blue and gold ribbon. A reception followed the ceremony with 90 guests present.
Refreshments were served and the newlyweds cut the six-tier wedding cake. After the many gifts were opened, the couple left on their honeymoon.
Mrs. MATEER is a graduate of Findlay high school and Duff?s college, Pittsburgh. She has been an active worker in the Valley Sunday school for many years.
The young couple will reside in Monaca.
