MASQUELIER - CARSON

Miss Alma Edith CARSON, daughter of Mr. and Mrs.  I. D. CARSON of Bridgeville [Pa], and Louis MASQUELIER, son of Mr. and Mrs. Jules Z. MASQUELIER of Valley street, McDonald [Pa], were united in marriage at 7:30 o'clock Monday evening, August 16, 1937, in the Bridgeville Methodist Episcopal church [sic], the pastor, the Rev. L. K. WHITFIELD officiating. The bride was attired in a white embroidered organdy gown with white accessories. She wore a wreath of roses in her hair and carried a bouquet of white roses. The bridesmaid, Miss Rose CARSON, cousin of the bride, 
was attired in a pink organdy gown trimmed in blue. She wore blue accessories and carried a bouquet of pink roses. Mr. Paul J. MASQUELIER, brother of the bridegroom, was the best man. Mrs. Jessie MARTIN sang "I Love You Truly." She was accompanied by the church organist. Following the ceremony a reception was held in the home of the bride's parents. There were one hundred guests. The young couple left immediately for a trip to Geneva-on-the- Lake. Upon their return they will reside at 420 Valley street, McDonald [Pa]. The bride is a graduate of the Bridgeville high school [sic]. The bridegroom is a 1935 graduate of McDonald high school [sic] and assists his brothers in the managing of a gasoline service station in Barr street.

MASQUELIER - ANDERSON

A quiet wedding took place at 7:30 o'clock Monday evening, July 26, 1937, in the MCINTYRE home in Aspinwall [Pa] when Miss Sallie Hilder ANDERSON, daughter of Mrs. Mary Anderson 
MCINTYRE of Aspinwall [Pa], became the bride of Paul Julian MASQUELIER, son of Mr. and Mrs. Jules Z. MASQUELIER of Valley street, McDonald [Pa]. The Rev. E.J. VANDERVORT, pastor of the the Calvert Memorial church of Etna, performed the ceremony. The bride was attired in a white traveling suit with matching accessories. Following the ceremony, a reception was held in the bride's home with only the immediate families in attendance. The young couple left on a short wedding trip to Atlantic City [NJ] and other Eastern points. After August 1 they will reside at 420 Valley street, McDonald. The bridegroom is a 1933 graduate of McDonald high school and assists his brother in the managing of a gasoline station in Barr street.

The marriage of Miss Catharine Ruth KELSO, daughter of Mr. Harry M. KELSO of Third street, and Mr. Raymond P. MASQUELIER, son of Mr. and Mrs. Jules MASQUELIER Sr., of Valley street, took place at nine o'clock Saturday morning, July 10, 1926, in the study of the Robinson's Run United  Presbyterian church. The Rev. J. L. KROHN, pastor of the church, officiated at a double ring ceremony. The bride, who was given in marriage by her father, wore a gown of dark blue pussy willow taffeta trimmed in flesh georgette and  a large black satin hat and she carried sweetheart roses. There were no attendants.  The parents of the bride and bridegroom were present at the ceremony, immediately after which Mr. and Mrs. MASQUELIER, left for a few days' visit at Niagara Falls. Mrs. MASQUELIER is a graduate of McDonald high school.  She attended Musgingum college and Margaret Morrison school.  Mr. MASQUELIER is employed by the Pennsylvania Railroad company in Pittsburgh.  The couple will reside in Valley street.

MASQUELIER - DROSSMAN

Miss Greta DROSSMAN, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph DROSSMAN of Aliquippa [Pa], and William E. MASQUELIER, son of Mrs. Jeannette MASQUELIER of McDonald [Pa], were united in marriage at seven o'clock Friday evening, March 10, 1944, in the livingroom of the DROSSMAN
home. The Rev. S. A. MCCOLLAM, D.D., pastor of the First United Presbyterian church, McDonald [Pa], performed the double ring ceremony before an improvised altar of ferns and flowers.
