[ MALARKY - DRENNAN ]
The home of Mr. and Mrs. Walter DRENNAN in Clarksburg, W. Va., was
the scene of a very pretty wedding Tuesday evening, February 20, at 6
o'clock, when their daughter Marcella Mae [DRENNAN] became the bride of
James Robiason MALARKY of this place. The house was beautifully decorated
in palms and ferns and the colors were pink and white. The bride was
dressed in a very pretty gown of white marquisette voile and messaline
and wore a large white beaver hat trimmed in white plumes. She carried a
bouquet of bride's roses. The groom wore the conventional black suit.
The bridesmaid, Miss Josephine TWYMAN, was dressed in pink silk mull and
carried pink and white carnations. Jack DRENNAN, a brother of the
bride, acted as best man. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. Father
KEATING and was witnessed by a large concourse of friends. The wedding
march was played by Miss Mae LYONS. After the ceremony supper was served
in the dining room from 6 until 8:30. Mr. and Mrs. MALARKY left on
Wednesday afternoon amid a shower of rice and old shoes, and arrived in
McDonald on Friday evening. They will make their home here.
