Vera MCCOY, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joe MCCOY of Langeloth, became the bride of Royal MacGILLIS of Oakdale at the bride?s home recently. The Rev. H. S. GRIFFEN, pastor of the Langeloth Community church, performed the ceremony.

Only the immediate families were present.

The bride was attired in a blue lace dress and a blue taffeta coat with harmonizing accessories and wore a corsage of talisman roses and valley-lilies.

The young couple will reside in Oakdale.

Fr. C. M. KEANE. The bride wore light blue with black accessories. A wedding supper followed in the home of the bridegroom?s sister. The young couple are at home in Carnegie.

Mrs. Ethel MacKNIGHT of East State street, Oakdale, announces the marriage of her son, Fred J. MacKNIGHT, to Miss Rose RASZ of Sharon. The ceremony took place Saturday, October 2, 1943, in Jonesboro, Arkansas.

Mr. MacKNIGHT is taking his basic training as a pilot in the Army Air corps at Walnut Ridge, Arkansas. Mrs. MacKNIGHT has returned to Sharon to resume her duties as secretary at the Westinghouse Electric & Manufacturing Co.

The marriage of Miss Gladys Ruth ANTHONY, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William S. Anthony of McDonald, and Mr. Thomas MADDEN, son of Mr. and Mrs. William MADDEN of Carnegie, took place at the home of the bride?s parents on Wednesday, June 2, 1926, at twelve o?clock. The Rev. J. L. KROHN, pastor of the Robinson?s Run United Presbyterian church of McDonald, was the officiating minister. Miss Ruth SIGGINS of Wilkinsburg and William BELL of Carnegie were the attendants. Before the ceremony Mrs. James W. CAMPBELL sang ?At Dawning.? The wedding march was played by Miss Mary McGREGOR of Pittsburgh.  The bride wore a dress of white taffeta and tulle and her veil was held by a headband of orange blossoms. She carried a shower bouquet of pink roses and lilies of the valley. Miss SIGGINS wore yellow georgette with a white picture hat and carried ophelia roses. Immediately after the ceremony, a wedding dinner was served by the Welcome class of the First Presbyterian church. Covers were laid for twelve at the bride?s table. Mr. and Mrs. MADDEN left for a trip to Buffalo and a tour of New York State. On returning they will make their home for the present with the bride?s parents.
