Miss Isabelle English MILLER, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. W. J. MILLER of south of town and Mr. Arthur Henry LYTLE were united in marriage
at the home of the officiating minister, Rev. W. D. IRONS, D. D., Saturday evening, July 11th at 5:30 o'clock. Mr. LYTLE has accepted a position
as rural mail carrier on route four. They will be at home after August 1st in the H. W. KELSO property in Fifth street.

LYTLE - CLOSE
The marriage of Miss Letty Fleming CLOSE, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles F. CLOSE of Wightman street, Pittsburgh and Herbert G. LYTLE, son of Mrs. Warren
LYTLE and the late Prof. J. Warren LYTLE of Baum boulevard, took place Friday evening in the Sixth Presbyterian church by the Rev. Benjamin F. FARBER, D. D.,
assisted by Rev. R. H. MERRILL of Charleston, W.Va.
Mr. LYTLE is well known to many in this community having been connected with the Pittsburgh Academy from which many have graduated under the management of the
late Prof. J. Warren LYTLE and Herbert G. LYTLE. After a wedding trip to Canada and later setting sail for Europe, to be gone two months, upon their return will reside
in Pittsburgh.

LYTLE ? SCOTT
Miss Betty SCOTT, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles W. SCOTT of Oakdale, and Lt. William B. LYTLE, son of Mrs. Anna LYTLE of Oakdale and the late Dr. W. B. LYTLE, were united in marriage at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, June 30, 1943, in the garden of the SCOTT home by the Rev. William
HADDEN, brother-in-law of the bridegroom.
The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a gown of white net over taffeta. For ?something borrowed? she wore her sister-in-law, Mrs. Joseph SCOTT?s, veil. She carried a bouquet of stephanotis and
babys-breath. Miss Mary SCOTT was maid of honor and Mrs. Mary CALDWELL THOMPSON of Philadelphia, roommate of the bride at Muskingum college, was bridesmaid. Both wore gowns of blue net and lace and carried garden flowers. Miss Nancy MCCORMICK, niece of the bridegroom as junior bridesmaid, wore yellow net and carried garden flowers. Karl KNOBLOCK served as
bestman. Mrs. KNOBLOCK played the wedding music and Miss Margaret MEYERS of Newark, Ohio, sang.
Serving as aides at the reception, which followed in the SCOTT home, were Mrs. Joseph SCOTT, Miss Jean WEAN, Miss Ruth MEYERS, and Miss Helen
HAUDENSHIELD.
After a short wedding trip Lieutenant and Mrs. LYTLE will make their home near Fort
Belvore, Va., where Lieutenant LYTLE is stationed.
