LYONS - CAIN Wedding

Miss Anna C. Cain of Florence [Pa] and Mr. Edward W. LYONS of McDonald [Pa] were quietly married on Wednesday, June 24, [1914] at the First Presbyterian Church of Pittsburgh by the Rev. J. M. CLAUDY. The couple left for a wedding trip to the lakes and on their return will make their home in McDonald. Mr. LYONS is employed in the wholesale establishment of B. M. McCARTNEY.

On Tuesday morning, September 17, at 8:30 o'clock, Miss Anna Mary REYNOLDS of Station street and Mr. William LYONS of East Lincoln avenue were united in marriage by the Rev. Mr. McCOLLUM of the First United Presbyterian church. The ceremony was performed in the manse. The bride and groom were attended by Mr. and Mrs. E. W. LYONS, brother and sister of the groom. The bride was dressed in a navy blue silk ensemble suit with dark hat and furs. Mrs. E. W. LYONS wore a green coat dress with hat and shoes to match. Immediately following the ceremony Mr. and Mrs. E. W. LYONS left for an Eastern trip and upon returning to McDonald they will be at home in East Lincoln avenue.

A very pretty June wedding was solemnized in St. Paul's Monastery Chapel, Pittsburgh, when Miss Virginia LIENARD, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Nicholas LIENARD, and William LYONS of Pittsburgh were united in marriage on last Thursday morning at ten o'clock.  The Rev. PHILLIPS officiated. The bride wore a gown of white point d'esprit with a tulle veil arranged in a cap effect with pearls and orange blossoms. The bridal bouquet was white roses showered with valley lilies. Mrs. Mary CLINE of Carnegie was the maid of honor, and John LaVELLE of Pittsburgh was the best man. After a western trip, Mr. and Mrs. LYONS will be at home in Carrick [Pa].
