A belated wedding tour was enjoyed recently by Mr. Homer W. LOVE of Columbus, Ohio, and his wife, who was Miss Hazel HALL of McDonald. The young couple have been married for several years but for reasons of their own kept it a profound secret until October 6th of this year, when a number of close friends were surprised with the announcement from Monroe, Mich., of their marriage. Mr. LOVE is employed by the Columbus Railway Power and Light Co. as a superintendent of electrical construction. He is a son of Mr. and Mrs. James LOVE of the West end, McDonald. Mrs. LOVE is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William D. HALL of Washington avenue and a well-known school teacher. She served her country during the World war as an ambulance driver at the Columbus hospital.

LOVE - THORNHILL

Miss Eurilda Lois THORNHILL, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George THORNHILL, and Mr. William LOVE, son of Nelson LOVE of Heidelberg, were united in marriage Tuesday, March 14, 1939, in the home of the bride's parents, the Rev. I JOHNSTON, pastor of the Oakdale A.M.E. Zion church, officiating. The bride wore a gray traveling suit with wine accessories and a shoulder corsage of snapdragons, roses and for-get-me-nots [sic].  The bridesmaid, Miss Juanita THORNHILL, sister of the bride, wore old rose crepe with blue accessories. Mr. Harold THORNHILL, brother of the bride, served as bestman. The wedding music was played by Miss Wilma BARBOUR. A reception followed with six seated at the bride's table, a wedding cake, candles, and roses forming the centerpiece. The young couple will reside with the bridegroom's father.

The Rev. W. R. McMUMM solemnized the marriage of Miss Edna Elizabeth KELLY, daughter of Mrs. Mary A. KELLY of Noblestown, and Mr. Frank A. LOVELAND, Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. F. A. LOVELAND of McDonald, at eleven o'clock Tuesday morning, August 29th in the parsonage of the First United Presbyterian church, Oakdale. The bride was attired in a traveling suit, with hat to match, and wore a corsage bouquet of roses and sweet-peas, and was attended by her sister, Miss Anna KELLY, while Mr. H. W. LOVELAND of Bradford, Pa., brother of the groom, was best man. Following a wedding breakfast for the bridal party in the William Penn hotel, Mr. and Mrs. LOVELAND left for a tour of the Lakes.

The Rev. W. R. MCMUNN solemnized the marriage of Miss Edna Elizabeth KELLY, daughter of Mrs. Mary A. KELLY of Noblestown, and Frank A. LOVELAND, Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. F. A.
