Miss Anna V. MICHALKA, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John MICHALKA of Midway [Pa], and John B. LESCALLETTE, son of Mrs. Martha LESCALLETTE, also of Midway [Pa], were united in marriage at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, August 3, 1940, in the Center United Presbyterian church [sic], Midway [Pa], the Rev. Alfred HUBBARD, pastor, performing the ceremony.

The bride wore a gown of blue silk jersey with white accessories and a corsage of pink roses and babybreath. She was attended by Miss Dorothy LESCALLETTE, sister of the bridegroom, who wore a gown of blue lace with white accessories and a corsage of pink roses. Mr. Cyril MICHALKA served as bestman. The wedding music was played by Mrs. John KRAEER, JR.

About thirty guests were present at the reception and included members of the immediate families and friends.

Mr. and Mrs. LESCALLETTE left for a trip to Canada and upon their return will reside in Midway [Pa].

On Tuesday morning, June 10, 1924, at 9 o'clock, in the United Presbyterian parsonage at Oakdale, the marriage of Mary J. STEWART and Richard F. LESCALLETTE, both of Oakdale, took place. The Rev. M. W. RIDDLE performed the ceremony in the presence of a few close friends. The bride was gowned in a dark blue serge traveling suit with hat to match. After the ceremony Mr. and Mrs. LESCALLETTE left for the Carnegie Music hall, Pittsburgh, where the groom graduated from the engineering department of the Carnegie Institute of Technology. Later in the day they left by auto for an extensive Eastern trip. They also intend to visit at Quantico, Va., the Marine station where Mr. LESCALLETTE was stationed during the war. Mr. and Mrs. LESCALLETTE will be at home in Oakdale after June 23d. Miss STEWART is a daughter of the late Mrs. Anna STEWART and was a teacher in the Oakdale public schools. Mr. LESCALLETTE is a son of Charles LESCALLETTE and is assistant-superintendent of the Armstrong Cork company plant at Oakdale.
