LENORE - BAIN

Miss Sarah BAIN, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John BAIN of Midway [Pa], and Carl LENORE, son of Mrs. and Mrs. Frank LENORE of Midway [Pa], were united in marriage at 8:00 p.m. Saturday, June 17, 1944, in the manse of the Center United Presbyterian church [sic], Midway [Pa], by the pastor, the Rev. Alfred Hubbard.

The bride wore white crepe with white accessories and a corsage of yellow roses. The bridesmaid, Miss Rosella LENORE, sister of the bridegroom, wore coral crepe with white accessories and a corsage of red roses. William BAIN of Midway [Pa], brother of the bride, served as bestman. The bride's mother wore a light blue and white ensemble and a corsage of red roses. The bride's father and the bride's sister-in-law, Mrs. Law BAIN, also witnessed the ceremony.

Following the ceremony, a reception was held in the LENORE home. A large wedding cake formed the table centerpiece.

Mrs. LENORE, a 1941 graduate of Midway high school [sic], is employed as an inspector at the Curtiss-Wright plant in Beaver [Pa]. Mr. LENORE is a Pittsburgh Coal Co. employee. The young couple reside with the bride's parents.

On Wednesday, September 20, 1922, at 5:30 o'clock, the marriage of Miss Bertha MARLIER, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Victor F. MARLIER, of Summit street, and Mr. Herman LEONARD, son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank LEONARD of Valley street, was solemnized in the home of the bride by the Rev. 
Alexandre MAGE, D. D., pastor of the French United Presbyterian church.  The bride, who was given in marriage by her father, wore a gown of 
white pussy willow crepe, and carried an arm bouquet of sweetheart roses showered with lilies of the valley. Mr. and Mrs. LEONARD will reside in 
McDonald. Mr. LEONARD is an employee of the Manufaturers [sic] Light and Heat Co.

Miss Frances Elizabeth PASCOE, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Peter PASCOE of North McDonald street, McDonald, and Robert Bruce LEPLEY, son of Mr. and Mrs. J. E. LEPLEY of Hyndman, Somerset county, were united in marriage at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, December 12, 1942, in the home of the officiating minister, the Rev. O.E. GARDNER, D.D., pastor of the First Presbyterian church, McDonald.

The bride wore a poudre blue street-length dress with brown accessories and a corsage of yellow roses. The bridesmaid, Miss Hilda SUPLIT of McDonald, wore navy blue and a corsage of red and yellow roses. Fred EISLER of Washington served as bestman. 

Following the ceremony, a reception was held in the PASCOE home for about 25 guests.

Mrs. LEPLEY is a 1939 graduate of McDonald high school. Mr. LEPLEY, a graduate of Hyndman high, is stationed in Washington with the Pennsylvania State Motor Police. 

The young couple reside at 220 Dewey avenue, Washington.
