Wednesday, August 28, 1929, Margaret Alice BRINKMAN, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. H. F.
BRINKMAN, of McDonald, R. D. 3, became the bride of J. G. August LEIPOLD, of
Bulger, R. D. 1. The ceremony was performed in the home of the officiating minister, Rev. H. L. Wiggins, at 11:30 o?clock.
The bride wore a gown of French beige georgette, with hat and shoes to match. The young couple will make their home with the bridegroom?s father, J. G. LEIPOLD of
Bulger.

On Tuesday morning, November 16, 1937, at 11:30 o'clock occurred the marriage of J. George LEIPOLD and Elizabeth KAUFMANN in the home of Mr. LEIPOLD's mother, Mrs. Katherine
ANGERER, R.D. 1, Canonsburg. The Rev. Walter T. HEMPEL officiated in the presence of the ANGERER family, Mr. and Mrs.
J.A. ANGERER being the attendants. After the ceremony Miss Mildred, Miss Anna, and Miss Edna ANGERER served a wedding dinner. Miss Anna baked the wedding cake and upon the bride was bestowed the honor to cut it.

LEISTER - BARRETT.
Married, at Cumberland, Md., on March 16, 1893, by Rev. J. C. NICHOLSON, Mr. F. O. LEISTER, of Oakdale, and Miss H. Wave BASSETT, of East End, Pittsburg. After the ceremony they stopped at Cumberland until Monday, then started for Washington
[missing=D.C.] where they visited all the principal places, such as the capitol building, white ho
[missing=house] treasury department, Washington monument, navy yards, war and navy departments, patent office, national museum and other principal places and had the honor of meeting President CLEVELAND.
Left Washington [D.C.] for Johnstown [Pa.] Mar. 25, [1893], arriving that evening and visited Mrs. L.'s
[LEISTER's] near relatives. Departing from there April 3 [, 1893] for Oakdale, where they were received with a hearty welcome at his father's house. The happy couple will make Oakdale their future home and the best wishes of their many friends and acquaintances follow them through life.

MOORE - LEITER

A very quiet wedding was solemnized on Thursday evening, June 15, 1922, at 6 o'clock in the Seventh Avenue Hotel, Pittsburgh by the Rev. J. D.
GIBSON of Greenville, Pa., assisted by Rev. R. W. NAIRN of Midway, when Miss Angileen Moore, daughter of Dr. and Mrs. J. M.
MOORE of Midway and J. Roy LEITER son of Mrs. H. E. LEITER of Marion avenue, Oakdale,
were quietly united in marriage. The bride wore her traveling costume of midnight blue with corsage of sweetheart roses. The bride was unattended and only
the immediate families were present. A dinner followed the ceremony, covers being laid
for 18. Mr. and Mrs. LEITER left on Thursday evening for an extended trip in the east,
followed by an ocean trip, spending a few days at the Florida beaches, the trip terminating at Atlana [sic], Ga., where they will make their home.
The bride was a graduate of the Indiana State normal school, also an employee of
the Pennsylvania Railroad and at one time a teacher in the Oakdale public school.
Mr. LEITER is an employee of the Armstrong Cork Company, being connected with their
Atlanta office. Their many friends wish them much happiness all thru life and a pleasant
journey to the Southland.

LaMAL - SMITH
Miss Julianna SMITH, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Albert SMITH of Coal street, McDonald, and Jules
LEMAL, Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. Jules LEMAL, Sr., of Center avenue, McDonald, were united in marriage at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, October 4, 1947, in the First United Presbyterian church. The
pastor, Rev. S. A. McCOLLAM, D. D., performed the double ring ceremony before an altar decorated with ferns and lighted candles. Mrs. Louis
LAVIE played the wedding march and accompanied Miss Geraldine CHARLIER, who sang "Because" and "O Promise Me."
The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore an ivory slipper satin gown fashioned with a high seed pearl neckline, fitted bodice, long sleeves
pointed at wrist, and a full skirt ending in a two-yard train. Her long veil of lace inserts was held in place by an open crown of seed pearls. She
carried white roses tied with a white stain [sic] bow and streamers. Miss Betty MOLNAR was maid of honor and she was attired in a gold
grosgrain taffeta gown with high mesh neckline, a bustle back, and a full skirt falling from a fitted waist. Her headdress was a crownless picture hat
of net matching the gown. She carried yellow talisman roses tied with a gold satin ribbon and streamers. The bridesmaids were Rose Marie
[LAMAL] and LaVerne LAMAL, sisters of the bridegroom. LaVerne [LAMAL] wore an orchid grosgrain taffeta gown styled with high mesh neckline, a bustle back,
and a full skirt falling from a fitted waist. Her headdress was an open crown picture hat of net matching the gown. She carried yellow talisman
roses tied with an orchid satin ribbon and streamers. Rose Marie was attired in an identical gown of rose grosgrain taffeta with matching head-dress and carried yellow roses. Albine
LEMAL, brother of the bridegroom, served as bestman.
John MOLNAR and Louis MOTTE were the ushers.
The bride's mother was attired in a dark green dress with brown accessories and the bridegroom's mother wore a green dress with matching
accessories. Both wore corsages of yellow roses.
Following the ceremony a reception was held in the Palace Gardens for over 200 guests. The three-tiered wedding cake, baked by the bride's mother, was topped with a miniature bride and groom.
Mr. and Mrs. LEMAL are making their home at 355 East Lincoln avenue, McDonald.
Mrs. LEMAL is a graduate of McDonald high school class of 1942 and is employed by Champion Stores, McDonald. Mr. LEMAL is a graduate
of McDonald high school class of 1939 and is employed by his father. He served five years in the U. S. army, three and a half of which were spent overseas.
