LAMBING - HUTCHINSON
Miss Martha Aleen HUTCHINSON, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William HUTCHINSON of Cecil, was married to Charles Leroy LAMBING, son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles LAMBING of Venice, on Thursday, December 22, 1938, their marriage being solemnized in the home of the bride by the Rev.
C. T. LITTELL.
The bride wore a gown of wine colored velvet. She had a corsage of talisman roses and carried a small Bible in her hand.
The matron of honor, the bride's sister, Mrs. William GLASS, wore a blue velvet gown and carried a corsage of pink roses.
Nelson LAMBING of Venice acted as best man.
There was a reception held in the bride's home with 20 guests present.
The bride attended Cecil high school. The bridegroom attended Cecil high school, Washington and Jefferson college, and graduated from the Naval Air Corps, December 7, 1938, at Pensacola, Fla. He is a member of Kappa Sigma fraternity.
Mr. and Mrs. LAMBING left for a short wedding trip after which Ensign LAMBING and his wife will go to San Diego, where he is to report to the Patrol Bombing Squadron on January 8.
Out-of-town guests included Mr. and Mrs. Boyd BUCKWALTERS of Scranton and Mrs. Hugh FRAZEE of McDonald, grandmother of the bridegroom.

LAMBING - McCLURE
At the Canonsburg United Presbyterian church, Saturday afternoon, June 14, Miss Margaret Louise McCLURE, former member of the U.S. Army Nurse Corps, became the bride of Raymond Lawrence LAMBING, former radio operator U.S. Army.
The bride is a daughter of Mrs. Helen McCLURE of Canonsburg and the late Albert D. McCLURE, and the bridegroom is a son of Mr. and Mrs. W.C. LAMBING R.D. 3, McDonald. The double ring ceremony was performed at 3:30 o'clock by Dr. H. Ross HUME, pastor, before an altar adorned with flowers and ferns.
Preceding the ceremony, Miss Grace McWILLIAMS, church organist, played a medley of wedding aires. Lohengrin's Wedding March was used as the processional and Mendelssohn's "Always" and "Because" were sung by Elizabeth EICHERLY of Harrisburg, who served with the bride in the Army Nurse Corps.
Given in marriage by her brother-in-law, Hargro McCALLUM, the bride wore a white colonial style gown with chantilly lace bodice and peplum and full hoop skirt and court train of nylon chiffon. The bride's only jewelry was a single strand of pearls, a gift of the bridegroom. The bridal bouquet was fashioned also in a colonial style and was of white roses centered with an orchid.
Mrs. Evelyn McCALLUM of Haddon Heights, N.J., sister of the bride, was matron of honor. Other attendants to the bride were the bridesmaids, Miss Clara McCLURE, also a sister of the bride, Miss Marjorie DAY, and junior bridesmaid, Miss Sandra Sue
McCALLUM.
Serving as bestman was Karl GABOSH of Dormont and the ushers were W. G. BOAK and Harry O. CARR.
Mrs. LAMBING is a graduate of Canonsburg high school with the class of 1940, and of the Washington Hospital School of Nursing. She served 18 months with the Army Nurse Corps in the Pacific area.
The bridegroom is a graduate of Cecil township high school and is at present employed the Jones & Laughlin Steel Corporation, Pittsburgh. A veteran of World War II, he served three years as radio operator in the southwest Pacific.

LANCE - SPRINGER
Miss Nellie E. SPRINGER, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. John SPRINGER of Imperial, and Mr. Earl LANCE of Coraopolis heights were united in marriage at 10:45 a.m. Friday, June 10, 1938, in the Ingram Presbyterian parsonage, the pastor, the Rev. Walter L. STUART, officiating. The bride was attired in a blue silk crepe gown with a corsage of white roses. After the ceremony, the young couple returned to the SPRINGER home, where a delicious luncheon, prepared by the bride's cousin, Mrs. Robert EWING, and her daughter Lois, was served. The young couple motored to the home of the bride's aunt, Mrs. Lulu JACKSON, in Morristown, W.Va., where dinner was served. Guests present were Mr. and Mrs. Victor SHRADER and children, Robert TURNER, Mr. and Mrs. Robert CURRY, Mr. Robert E. BEVERLY, and Mr. and Mrs. William JACKSON. Mr. and Mrs. LANCE and M. and Mrs. William JACKSON and granddaughter motored Saturday to Brownsville, Ohio and were dinner guests of the Robert CURRY family. They returned Sunday evening to the SPRINGER home where they will reside for the present.
