Miss Dorothy WALKER of Indianola and James LACKEY, son of Mr. and Mrs. Hugh GOINS of Indianola, were united in marriage at 11:00 a.m. Saturday June 8, 1940, in the home of the bridegroom's aunt, Miss Lizzie MCDONALD, in Fannie street, McDonald, the Rev. Ross T. CAMPBELL, D.D., pastor of the Robinson's Run church, performed the ceremony. The attendants were Miss Wilda
[RANDALL] and Mr. Walter RANDALL of McDonald. Others who witnessed the ceremony were Mr. and Mrs. GOINS, Mrs. WALKER, Mrs. William FRENCH, and Mr. and Mrs.
G. F. MCCULLOUGH.

MASQUELIER - LAGNEAUX
[ LAGNEAUX is the Groom. ]
Miss Mamie MASQUELIER, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Eli MASQUELIER of Valley street and Mr. Maurice LAGNEAUX of Cambridge, Ohio were united in marriage in the French United Presbyterian church Thursday evening, June 23, at 7:45 o'clock. The Rev. Auguste DEVOS officiated. The bridal party marched to the altar to the strains of Lohegrin's wedding march, played by Mrs. P. J. CHARILER. Mrs. Abel MASQUELIER was bridesmaid and Abel MASQUELIER, brother of the bride, was best man. Miss Elizabeth MASQUELIER, sister of the bride was maid of honor. During the ceremony Harry MASQUELIER sang "O Promise Me." The ring ceremony was used. Mr. and Mrs. LAGNEAUX left Sunday for Cambridge where they will make their home. Mr. LAGNEAUX is employed in a tin mill at that place.

LAINE - CHARLIER Wedding
Desire LAINE and Miss Elma CHARLIER were united in marriage on Monday evening, October 21, at eight o'clock in the French Church, by the pastor, the Rev. Alexandre MAGE. Miss Aline LIENARD and Jules Eli MASQUELIER were the attendants. The two-ring service was used. The pulpit and rostrum of the church were covered with flowers and plants from the homes of Eli MASQUELIER and John B. MASQUELIER and from the parsonage. Following the ceremony a reception was held in the basement of the church. Mr. and Mrs. LAINE left on the nine train for a wedding trip. On their return they will make their home with the groom's parents.

Miss Ruth L. CAGNON, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William CAGNON of Midway, and John Edward LAMB, son of Mr. and Mrs. Paul LAMB also of Midway, were united in marriage at seven o'clock Saturday evening, August 27, 1938, in the Center United Presbyterian manse, the pastor, the Rev. Alfred HUBBARD officiating. The bride was attended by her mother. Mr. Joseph CAGNON, brother of the bride, was the bestman. Mrs. Elsie ORTOSKY, sister of the bride, was also present. The bride wore an ensemble of brown with accessories of luggage tan. Mr. and Mrs. LAMB will reside in the home of the late Mrs. Isabel HOLLAND.

LAMB - LOFFERT
Miss Vana Elizabeth LOFFERT, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry N. LOFFERT of R.D. 4, McDonald, and Robert Paul LAMB, son of Mr. and Mrs. Paul LAMB of Midway, were united in marriage at 3:45 o'clock Thursday afternoon, May 25, 1939, in the home of the bride's pastor, the Rev. Alfred HUBBARD, minister of the Center U.P. church, Midway, in the presence of the parents of the bride and
bridegroom. The bride wore a baby blue lace dress with rose accessories. Her corsage was of
rosebuds and sweet peas. Immediately after the ceremony, the wedding party motored to The
Maples near Florence, where the wedding dinner was served. Following a short mountain trip, Mr. and Mrs. LAMB are at home with the bride's parents.
