KURIGER - BUCHANAN
Miss Esther BUCHANAN, daughter of Mrs. Emma BUCHANAN of Midway and the late
J. R. BUCHANAN, and James KURIGER, son of Charles KURIGER of Sunset Drive, Bellevue, were united in marriage at 7:45 p.m. Saturday, September 20, 1947, in the Center
U. P. manse. The pastor, the Rev. Eldin BENNETT, performed the single ring ceremony.
The newlyweds left immediately for a wedding trip to Lake Erie, New York, and Canada and upon their return will reside in Bellevue. The bride is a graduate of Duffy's Iron City college and was employed by Koppers Co., Pittsburgh.
The bridegroom is a builidng [sic] contractor in Bellevue.

KURTZ - WILLIAMSON
Miss Lorraine WILLIAMSON, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. C. M. WILLIAMSON of Carnegie,
formerly of McDonald, and Mr. Harry M. KURTZ, of Bridgeville were united in
marriage at 9:00 a.m. Saturday, June 15, 1940, in St. Luke's church, Carnegie.
The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a white net frock over satin
with a long train. Her long veil was held in place by a satin coronet. She carried a bouquet of calla lilies. She also wore a short strand of pearls, a
gift of the bridegroom. Miss Kathryn GOLOTTI of Carnegie, maid of honor, wore
pink net with blue accessories. The bridesmaids were Mrs. Frendo PIAZZA and
Miss Gladys DAUDET of McDonald. Mrs. PIAZZA wore blue net with pink accessories
and Miss DAUDET wore yellow net with green accessories. Jean DENNY of McDonald,
the flower girl, wore green net with yellow. All the attendants carried bouquets
of sweetheart roses with blue iris. Mr. Charles WILLIAMSON of Carnegie, brother
of the bride served as bestman and the ushers were Mr. Leonard Schraeder of
Bridgeville and Mr. Frendo PIAZZA of McDonald. After the ceremony, a wedding
breakfast was served to forty guests, with ten seated at the bride's table. A
large wedding cake formed the centerpiece. In the evening a reception was held in
Dante hall with guests from Pittsburgh, Carnegie, McDonald and Bridgeville. After
a short wedding trip, Mr. and Mrs. KURTZ will reside in Bridgeville.

KUZMA - GEMO
Miss Marjorie R. GEMO, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Andy GEMO of McDonald, became the bride of John A. KUZMA of Upland Heights, Yorkville, Ohio, at a ceremony solemnized Saturday afternoon, August 31. They exchanged vows at four o'clock in the Holy Trinity church, Wheeling. The Rev. Mr. SNYDER of Wheeling and the Rev. Mr. HYTH of Martins Ferry officiated at the double ring ceremony.
Mrs. Jane GEMO of McDonald, sister-in-law of the bride, was matron of honor and Oey N. HOLT, of Tiltonville served as
bestman.
The bridesmaids were Helen TINSA of Benwood, W.Va., and Miss Judy KUZMA, sister of the bridegroom. Ushers were Robert KOLINCIK of New Salem, and Ernest WEBNER of
Tiltonville.
The bride wore white satin and marquisette. The satin bodice was fashioned with a sweetheart neckline and long-pointed sleeves. The marquisette skirt was full and had an extremely long train. Her full-length veil was of net, trimmed in lace and was attached to a beaded crown. She wore a strand of pearls and carried a bouquet of white roses and forget-me-nots.
The matron of honor was attired in a blue brocade gown. The bridesmaids' gowns were identical to that of the matron of honor. All carried bouquets of red roses. Both mothers wore corsages of red roses.
Immediately following the ceremony, a reception was held in the home of Mr. and Mrs. Mike KUZMA of Upland Heights, Yorkville, Ohio. The bride's table was centered with a tiered wedding cake and surrounded with cut flowers.
Later Mr. and Mrs. John A. KUZMA left for their honeymoon at Buckeye Lake, Ohio, and on September 21 they left for California. Mr. KUZMA served as a SeaBee and was transferred into the Marine Corps in the Pacific area. He was recently discharged and is now employed at Wheeling Steel, Yorkville works.

At the home of the bride's uncle, C. R. POTTER, on last Friday evening, Ormond H. KYLE and M. Jeanette MAY were united in marriage by Rev. Dr. IRONS with only the immediate friends present. Both young people have been engaged in the United Presbyterian missionary school work at Knoxville, Tenn. Their future home will be at Clearfield, PA.
