KOTAR - HORSTMAN

Miss Marcella Jean HORSTMAN, daughter of the Howard HORSTMANs, Sr., of R.D. 1, Canonsburg, and Wilbur David KOTAR, son of the Anthony KOTARs, Sr., also of R.D.1, Canonsburg, were united in marriage at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, October 10, 1942, in the First Christian church, Canonsburg, by the Rev. G. W. BUCKNER.

The bride wore a beige traveling suit with a similar headdress and a corsage of talisman roses. The bridesmaid, Miss Jean CONKEY of Murray hill, wore a brown street dress with matching headdress and a corsage of talisman roses. Howard HORSTMAN, Jr., brother of the bride, served as bestman. Miss Eda Mae MISHIK played the wedding music.

A family dinner was held in the HORSTMAN home, with twelve guests.

After a wedding trip, the couple will reside with the bride's parents.

Mrs. KOTAR is a graduate of Cecil high school. Mr. KOTAR intends to enter the army soon.

KOVACH - KOTEK

Miss Helen KOTEK, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John KOTEK of Clinton [Pa], and Sgt. Paul KOVACH, stationed in Colorado, son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph KOVACH of Imperial, were united in marriage at 3:45 p.m. Monday, January 3, 1944, in Wellsburg, W.Va., by the Rev. Mr. FRAZER.

The attendants were Miss Pauline HASKI of Pittsburgh, aunt of the bride, and Frank PICKFORD of Wellsburg [W.Va].

A wedding supper was held at Little Traverse inn [sic], after which the couple left for a short wedding trip. On Thursday a reception was held for the families and friends.

Mrs. KOVACH will reside with her parents in Hiland avenue [sic], Coraopolis [Pa]. Sgt. KOVACH will return to Denver, Colo.

Miss Frances DURAY, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph DURAY of North McDonald street [sic], McDonald [Pa], and S Sgt. Joseph J. KOWALSKI, who returned recently from the China-Burma-India theatre, son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph KOWALSKI of R.D. 1, McDonald [Pa], were united in marriage with requiem high mass at 7:30 a.m. Monday, September 20, 1943, in St. Alphonsus' church [sic], McDonald [Pa].

The attendants were Miss Florence DURAY, sister of the bride, and Arthur AURAND, brother-in-law of the bride.

Mrs. KOWALSKI is a 1937 graduate of McDonald high school [sic] and the Washington hospital school of nursing [sic]. Sergeant KOWALSKI is a graduate of North Fayette high school [sic] and Waynesburg college [sic] [all in Pa].

After a visit with the bride's brother Joseph in Chicago [Il.], the newlyweds will leave for St. Joseph, Mo., where they will make their home.

KOWASKI - ANTOSH 

Miss Helen ANTOSH of Westland and Walter KOWASKI of Mollenauer were united in marriage at 9:00 a.m. Saturday, July 14, 1942, in St. Patrick's church, Canonsburg.

The bride was attired in white with a long veil. The maid of honor , Miss Genevieve KOWALSKI of Mollenauer, wore pink. Stanley ANTOSH, brother of the bride, served as bestman. The bridesmaids, Miss Jeannette ANTOSH, Miss Virginia NAGI, and Miss Helen KESNECK, were all dressed in blue. The ushers were Tony TORNASKY of Mollenauer, Stanley HALUCK of Carnegie, and George PERICH of Mollanauer. 

A dance was held in the evening.
