KNESTRICK - AIKEN
Miss Sarah AIKEN, daughter of Mr. O. V. AIKEN of Midway, and Mr. Paul
KNESTRICK, son of Mr. and Mrs. Raymond E.
KNESTRICK of Washington [Pa], were united in marriage at high noon, Thursday, July 29, 1937, in the home of the bride's father. The Rev. E. L. RALSTON of McDonald
[Pa] performed the ring ceremony before an embankment of palms and ferns and baskets of gladiolas and babybreath
[sic]. Before the ceremony Glenn AIKEN, brother of the bride, sang "Oh Promise Me" and "I Love You Truly." He was accompanied by Mrs. R. M. DONALDSON, who also played the Lohengrin wedding march. The bride was attired in white organza over white satin, with white accessories. She wore a corsage of pink Killarney roses, lilies of the valley, and
babybreath. Miss Margaret RALSTON of
McDonald [Pa], the maid of honor, wore aqua lace over taffeta, with pink accessories. She wore a corsage of pink Killarney roses, lilies of the valley, and
babybreath. Mr. Donald HUFFORD of Washington
[Pa] was the best man. A wedding dinner was served with covers laid for thirty. The centerpiece was a large wedding cake. Tall pink candles were also used as a table decoration. The young couple left for a wedding trip. Upon their return they will reside at 455 Allison
avenue [sic], Washington [Pa]. Mrs. KNESTRICK is a graduate of Midway
[Pa] high school [sic] and the Washington Hospital School of Nursing. Mr. KNESTRICK is a graduate of W. & J.
college [sic].

KOCAYA - CAPITANI
Miss Adele CAPITANI, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Domenick CAPITANI of 488 Orchard
street [sic], McDonald [Pa], and Mrs. Walter KOCAYA, son of Mr. and Mrs. Andrew KOCAYA of 525 Third
avenue [sic], Carnegie, were united in marriage at 2:30 o'clock Saturday afternoon, May 24, 1941, in St.
Alphonsus' church,
McDonald [Pa], by the Rev. Father J. A. BURGOON.
The bride wore white lace with matching accessories and a corsage of talisman roses. The matron of honor, Mrs. Hubert CAPITANI of 113 Center
avenue [sic], McDonald [Pa], sister-in-law of the bride, wore blue chiffon with white accessories and a corsage of pink roses. Mr. Stanley SUCHAN of
Carnegie [Pa], an uncle of the bridegroom, served as bestman.
A reception was held Sunday afternoon in the CAPITANI home. There were eighteen guests with eight seated at the bride's table. A large wedding cake with pink roses formed the centerpiece of the bride's table and bouquets of gladioli were used in the decorations.
Mrs. KOCAYA is a 1937 graduate of McDonald high school [sic] and a 1938 graduate of Duffs-Iron City
college [sic]. Mr. KOCAYA attended Carnegie high school [sic] and is employed by the Superior Steel Co.,
Carnegie [Pa]. The young couple reside with the bride's parents.

Fr. C. M. KEANE offciating. The bride was attired in a white satin gown with matching accessories and carried white roses. The matron of honor, Mrs. Peter SMILNYAK of Oakdale [Pa], wore a peach satin gown with matching accessories and carried chrysanthemums. Miss Mary PASTOREK of Oakdale [Pa], the maid of honor, was attired in blue satin with matching accessories and carried chrysanthemums. Mrs. James RICHARDSON of Braddock [Pa] was the best man and Mr. Peter SMILNYAK of Oakdale [Pa] was the usher. The young couple will reside in North Braddock [Pa].
