Miss Rose SERGI, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Peter SERGI of Washington avenue, Midway, and Charles Edward
KARNS, Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs.
Charles KARNS, Sr., of Primrose, were united in marriage at 6:30 p.m., Thursday, June 26, 1947, in the First United Presbyterian church
parsonage. The pastor, the Rev. S. A. MCCOLLAM, D. D., performed the single ring ceremony.
The bride wore a white suit with matching accessories and a corsage of red roses. The matron of honor, Mrs. Fred NOURIGAT of Midway,
sister of the bride, wore a gold suit with white accessories and a corsage of white gardenias. Fred NOURIGAT of Midway served as
bestman.
Upon their return from a wedding trip through Ohio, the young couple will make their home in Zanesville. Mrs. KARNS attended the Midway
high school and served two years in the Women's Marine Corps, one year of which was spent overseas. Mr. KARNS attended the McDonald
high school and served in the army in the European theater. He is employed in Zanesville.

KAUFFELD - FOREID
Miss Edith Marie FOREID, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Olaf FOREID of Grafton, Ohio, and Herbert KAUFFELD, son of Mr. and Mrs. W. E. KAUFFELD of 244 South Highland
avenue, Oakdale, were united in marriage at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, June 20, 1942, in St. Aloysius church, Cleveland, Ohio.
The bride wore a gown of white organza over white satin. The maid of honor and bridesmaid wore sheer gowns of pale green and pale pink.
Following the reception at the K. of P. Temple, Cleveland, the young couple left for a two-week honeymoon in the Black Hills, South Dakota.
After July 5 they will reside at 14128 Superior road, Cleveland.

Miss Lula LANGHURST and Mr. George C. KAUFMANN were united in marriage on Wednesday, June 7, 1922, at noon, in the home of the
officiating minister, the Rev. W. D. IRONS, D.D., pastor of the First United Presbyterian church of McDonald. Miss Anna LANGHURST, sister of the bride, and John KAUFMANN, Jr., brother of the groom, were the attendants. The bride is a daughter of Mrs. Chris LANGHURST of the Shaw mine road, and the groom is a son of Mr. and Mrs. John KAUFMANN, Sr., of Valley street. The young couple will make their home on a farm near Oakdale.

LANGHURST - KAUFMANN

A pretty wedding took place at the home of the Rev. W. D. IRONS, D.D., on Wednesday, June 7, 1922, at twelve o'clock, when Miss Lula LANGHURST became the bride of George C. KAUFMANN. The bride wore a gown of white net over satin, with hat to match, and carried a bouqet [sic] of white roses. Miss Ella LANGHURST, a sister of the bride, was bridesmaid. She wore a dress of pink satin with hat to match and carried pink roses. John KAUFMANN, brother of the bridegroom, was best man. After the ceremony the wedding breakfast was served at the home of the bridegroom's parents, Mr. and Mrs. John KAUFMANN, in Valley street. Covers were laid for ten at the bride's table. Pink and white roses formed the centerpiece. The house was beautifully decorated with cut flowers and ferns. Mr. and Mrs. KAUFMANN left Thursday morning for Niagara Falls and other points. On their return they will go to housekeeping in their newly furnished home in the tenant house on the LOCKHART farm near Oakdale.

On Wednesday, March 16, 1910 Miss Bessie Jane STEWART, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Reason STEWART,
was united in marriage with Mr. John KAUFMANN. The marriage took place in Pittsburg [sic],
the Rev. G. J. CRAWFORD of that place performing the ceremony. The bride and groom are well-
known young people, Mr. KAUFMANN being the son of Mr. and Mrs. Adam KAUFMANN of R. D. 3, McDonald [Pa].
Their large circle of friends join in extending them their heartiest congratulations. Mr.
and Mrs. KAUFMANN will go to housekeeping near Bishop [Pa].
