KANDRAY - CLARK

Miss Thyra Monell CLARK, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. R. CLARK of Midway, and John KANDRAY, son of Mr. and Mrs. Andrew KANDRAY of Raccoon, were united in marriage at 7:45 p.m. Saturday, January 3, 1948, in the home of the bride. Rev. Paul H. Smith, pastor of the Midway Methodist church, performed the single ring ceremony. 

The bride wore a white net over a white satin gown. Her fingertip veil fell from a crown of seed pearls and she carried a colonial bouquet of red roses and white chrysanthemums. Her only jewelry was a cameo necklace of her mother's. The maid of honor was Miss Mollie CLARK, sister of the bride, who wore a pastel blue moire gown trimmed in net and she carried a colonial bouquet of pink roses and white chrysanthemums.  William KANDRAY of Raccoon, brother of the bridegroom, served as bestman. 

Preceding the ceremony James COCHRAN sang "I Love You Truly" and "Because," accompanied by Charles COCHRAN, who also played traditional wedding music. 

The young couple left immediately following the ceremony for a brief wedding trip.

Mrs. KANDRAY, a graduate of Midway high school, was employed by the Montour Railroad. Mr. KANDRAY, a graduate of Union high school, Burgettstown, is employed at Ambridge. They are residing in Raccoon.

The marriage of Miss Louise Frances MURRY, daughter of Mr. Michael MURRY of Homewood avenue, Pittsburgh, and Mr. William J. KANE, Jr., of the East end, Pittsburgh, was solemnized on Thursday morning, November 10, 1921, at nine o'clock in the Holy Rosary church, Pittsburgh, the Rev. D. J. MALADY officiating. Miss Mayme MURRY attended her sister, and Gerard R. HEINE was best man. The ushers were John MORAN, Jr., and John A. DASHBACH. A wedding breakfast in the Rittenhouse supplemented the ceremony, after which Mr. and Mrs. KANE left for an Eastern trip. Miss MURRY is well known in McDonald. The family resided in Barr street for many years, the father conducting a fruit stand here.

Mr. and Mrs. J. Q. FLICK of 233 Center avenue announce the marriage of their daughter Miss Dorothy Ruth to Mr. Charles J. KARCH, son of A. KARCH of Burgettstown, which took place in Wellsburg, W. Va., on January 11, 1934, in the First Presbyterian church. The Rev. Edward A. KRAPP performed the ceremony. Mr. KARCH is employed by the Weirton Steel Co., in Weirton, W. Va. The young couple will reside in McDonald.

Miss Olga CARSINO of the Northside, Pittsburgh [Pa], and George KARGLE, Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. George KARGLE, Sr., of South avenue [sic], Oakdale [Pa], were united in marriage at 8:30 a.m. Saturday, May 20, 1944, in the Immaculate Conception church, Pittsburgh [Pa].

The bride wore a brown suit with white accessories and a coursage of pink and white rosebuds. The bridesmaid, Miss Irene CARSINO, sister of the bride, wore a blue suit with white accessories and a corsage of pink and white rosebuds. Alex GODESKY of the Southside, Pittsburgh [Pa], served as bestman.

Following the ceremony, a wedding breakfast for twenty was served in the home of the bride's mother.

Mr. KARGLE is employed by the Armstrong Cork Co., Pittsburgh [Pa]. Mrs. KARGLE is a former employee of the company. The young couple reside at 817 Suisman street [sic], Northside, Pittsburgh [Pa].
