[ JOHNSTON - RICHARDS ]

Miss Anna RICHARDS, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James RICHARDS of the West End, and George A. JOHNSTON were united in marriage last Saturday evening at 8 o'clock at the home of the officiating minister, the Rev. W. D. IRONS, in the presence of the bride's family.  Mr. JOHNSTON lost his nearest relatives in the San Francisco earthquake [e.g. 1906]. The young couple have gone to housekeeping in the FABRE house in East Lincoln avenue.

JOHNSTON - MILLER

County Commissioner J. Elmer JOHNSTON of Canonsburg, and Mrs. Vesta* G. MILLER of Washington, deputy in the office of [the] Recorder Frank L. BAKER, were quietly married at eight o'clock Friday evening, March 12, 1926, by the Rev. W. E. SLEMMONS, pastor of the First Presbyterian church of Washington. They were attended by Miss Celia Morgan and John T. McNARY, both of Canonsburg.  After a southern wedding trip Mr. and Mrs. JOHNSTON will go to housekeeping in the new residence which has been recently completed in Hawthorne street, Canonsburg.
