The wedding took place Thursday evening, December 5, 1946, in the Rader

the double ring ceremony by candlelight.
Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a white satin gown fashioned

Her veil of illusion was secured with a tiara of orange blossoms and she
carried a bouquet of white lilies.
Mrs. Ruth KRAEER RUSSELL, sister of the bride, as matron of honor, wore a gown
of aqua with hair ornament of red roses and carried a heart-shaped nosegay of red roses. The maid of honor and two bridesmaids wore taffeta frocks in rainbow
hues, each carrying a heart-shaped nosegay of roses matching her hair ornament.
Mrs. KRAEER, mother of the bride, wore green with coral bead trim with a corsage
of yellow roses, and Mrs. IVEY, mother of the bridegroom, wore aqua crepe with
corsage of red roses.

A reception in the home of the bride's parents followed the ceremony, with covers
laid for 60 guests.
Both the bride and bridegroom were graduated from the Miami Edison high school,
and the bride has been employed as representative of the Southern Bell Telephone
