HULTZ - WINDSHEIMER

Miss Anna E. WINDSHEIMER, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George WINDSHEIMER, of R. D. 3, McDonald, and Mr. Clarence D. HULTZ, son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank HULTZ of Mt. Lebanon, were united in marriage at 10:45 a.m. Tuesday, June 18 1940, in the WINDSHEIMER home. The bridal party entered the room to the strains of the bridal chorus from Lohengrin "I Love You Truly" was played throughout the ceremony by Mrs. George WINDSHEIMER, Jr., of Midway. The wedding ceremony was read at an improvised altar of roses and ferns by the Rev. George F. HEGELE, D.D., a close friend of the family, and pastor of the Voegley Evangelical church, Pittsburgh.

The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a gown of sheer white marquisette and lace over white satin. Her shoulder length veil was held in place by a coronet of lilies of the valley. She carried an arm bouquet of pink briarcliff roses and babybreath and wore a gold heart locket, a gift of the bridegroom. The matron of honor, the bride's sister, Elizabeth (Mrs. Thomas E. SAWHILL), wore a gown of peach marquisette over peach satin with aqua blue ribbon and matching hair ornament. She carried an arm bouquet of cream tea roses and ferns. The bridegroom was attended by his brother, Mr. Samuel HULTZ.

Following the ceremony, a wedding dinner was served by the bride's mother. Present besides the bridal party were Mr. and Mrs. George WINDSHEIMER, Sr., Mr. and Mrs. Frank HULTZ,

George F. and Mrs. HEGELE, D.D., Mr. and Mrs. George WINDSHEIMER, Jr., daughter Martha Shirley [WINDSHEIMER], and son George Montgomery [WINDSHEIMER], Mr. and Mrs. John WINDSHEIMER, son Robert [WINDSHEIMER], and daughters June Lee [WINDSHEIMER] and Peggy Jean [WINDSHEIMER], Mr. and Mrs. Carl A. WINDSHEIMER, daughter Shirley Mae [WINDSHEIMER], and son Kenneth [WINDSHEIMER], Edward [WINDSHEIMER] and Miss Mary WINDSHEIMER, Thomas E. SAWHILL, Mr. and Mrs. Finley GILKESON, Mr. and Mrs. Wilbur LUSHEEN and daughter Mary Lou [LUSHEEN], Miss Jeannette SCOTT, Miss Doris Jean DILLON, and Dean TURNEY.

Announcement has been hade [sic] of the marriage of Mr. Francis M. HUNT, Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. F. M. HUNT, Sr. of the South side, to Miss Garnet P. GRIMM of Houston. Mr. HUNT is a clerk in the supervising
agent's office of the Pennsylvania Railroad company, Pittsburgh.  Mrs. HUNT was a stenographer in the Grant street freight station, Pittsburgh.  The will go to housekeeping in McDonald.

Miss Gladys BOWLAND, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George BOWLAND of Sturgeon, and Mr. Harper HUNTER, son of Mr. and Mrs. George HUNTER of Cochranton, Crawford County, formerly of North street, McDonald, were united in marriage at
12:30 o'clock Thursday, March 28, 1940, in the United Presbyterian church, Cochranton, the pastor, the Rev. Allan SHANNON, officiating.

The bride, given in marriage by Mr. Milton HILL, cousin of the bridegroom, wore a street-length dress of powder blue with matching accessories and a shoulder bouquet of pink roses and gardenias. She carried a Bible belonging to the bridegroom. Her attendant, Mrs. Ralph CAMPBELL of Cochranton, wore a navy blue dress and a shoulder bouquet of gardenias. Mr. Campbell served as Mr. HUNTER's attendant.

Following the ceremony, a wedding dinner was served in the HUNTER home. Mrs. HUNTER is a
graduate of North Fayette township high school. Mr. HUNTER, a graduate of McDonald high school, is employed at the plant of the Talon Co., Inc., in Meadville. The young couple will reside in Cochranton.

Miss Frances Ruth RANDOLPH and William J. HUNTER, Jr., were united in marriage on Thursday, April 18, 1929, in the Methodist Episcopal church of Cumberland, Md., the ring ceremony being used by the officiating minister, the Rev. Dr. C. A. PRICE. The bride, a daughter of Mrs. RANDOLPH, of Irwin, is a Goucher college girl. The bridegroom is a son of Mr. and Mrs. William J. HUNTER, of McDonald. He is a Monmouth college man and at present is engaged with his father in conducting the wholesale grocery business of Joseph M. SPRIGG's Sons, Inc, in McDonald. The young couple have returned from a motor trip through the Allegheny mountains and are dwelling at present in the HUNTER residence in West Lincoln avenue.
