HOLLAND - TONESI
Miss Carrie TONESI, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank TONESI, of R. D. 4, McDonald, and Arthur
HOLLAND, son of Mr. and Mrs. Bendy HOLLAND of Midway were married at two o'clock Wednesday, November 21, 1934 in the parsonage of
the M. E. church, Midway, the Rev. S. H. GREENLEE, officiating. The ring
ceremony was used. The attendants were Miss Mary SANDRI and Edwin
WADE. The bride was attired in eagle blue with hat to match. The maid of honor
also wore blue with hat to match. Following the ceremony a wedding dinner
was served in the home of the bride's parents. The centerpiece at the bride's
table was chrysanthemums. Yellow and white was the color scheme. Fifteen were
seated at the bride's table. After the wedding dinner a reception was held,
with ninety-five in attendance from LANGELOTH, Windsor Heights, W.Va., Cherry Valley, Canonsburg, Midway, Bridgeville,
McDonald, Pittsburgh, Bulger, Treveskyn, and Hickory. The young couple received a large number of beautiful
and useful gifts. They will reside in two newly furnished rooms in the home of
the bridegroom's parents.

Married by Rev. D.D. HEADLEE July 1, at the home of the bride, Miss Mary [SNEDDEN], daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas SNEDDEN, to Frank HOLLAND, all of Midway. The supper was held on the lawn at the home of the groom, adjoining that of the bride. A large number of invited guests were present, who enjoyed themselves to the utmost. The tin can brigade was present in force and received a share of good things. The cornet band also came to the front with some excellent music and was treated in a royal manner. Mr. and Mrs. HOLLAND will reside in Midway.

Mrs. Annie E. BELL, of Hills Station, and John Banks HOLLAND, of McDonald R. D., were married Tuesday, March 6th at Greensburg. The ceremony was performed
at the parsonage of the South Greensburg Methodist Episcopal church by the pastor, the Rev. Robert H. LITTLE, who was for several years pastor of the Fawcett
Methodist Episcopal church at Boyce.

HOLLAND - CAPIOLA
Miss Mary CAPIOLA, daughter of Mr. and Mrs/ John CAPIOLA of Canonsburg, and John HOLLAND, son of Mrs. Cora HOLLAND of Midway, were united in marriage at 4:00 p.m., Saturday, March 4, 1939, in the United Presbyterian manse. The pastor, the Rev. Alfred HUBBARD, officiated. The bride, who wore lavender crepe with gray accessories, was attended by Mrs. George NICE, who wore maroon crepe with black accessories. George NICE, an uncle of the bridegroom, was bestman. The young couple will reside in Midway.
