On Saturday, December 24, 1927, at three o'clock, occurred the marriage of Miss Margaret HOCKBERG of 596 Robinette Court, Akron, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Louis HOCKBERG formerly of here, to Mr. Karl HOFFMASTER of Akron. The quiet wedding took place at the home of the bride with only the immediate families in attendance.

of only the immediate families.

CONNORS - HOGAN
[ HOGAN is the Groom. ]
Miss Frances CONNORS, daughter of Mrs. Ellen G. CONNORS of Broughton street,
Eastend, Pittsburgh, and Charles M. HOGAN, son of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas F. HOGAN of Georgetown, were married at nine o'clock Thursday morning, September 4, 1924, in St. Paul's cathedral. The Rev. Fr. Arthur BURNS officiated. The bride, who was given in marriage by her brother, James Grant CONNORS, wore poudre blue lace over pink satin with a hat of blue velvet and silver lace, and carried a shower bouquet of pink rosebuds and blue
dephinium. The bride's sister, Miss Helen M. CONNORS, was bridesmaid and appeared in orchid crepe, with hat to match, and carried a dresden bouquet. Thomas HOGAN JR. was his brother's best man. The users included James R. SCALLY and William S.
HEYL. A wedding breakfast at the home of the bride followed the ceremony. Mr. and Mrs. HOGAN will be at home after October first in Coraopolis. Mr. HOGAN is well known in McDonald, having resided for a number of years in Oakdale.

HOGG - FERGUSON
Miss Charlotte Virginia FERGUSON, daughter of Mrs. William H. FERGUSON of Fourth street, McDonald, and Mr. William Langlands HOGG, Jr., son of William L. HOGG, Sr., of Waynesboro, Va., were united in marriage at 7:30 o'clock Saturday evening, December 21, 1940, in the manse of the First United Presbyterian church, McDonald, the pastor, the Rev.
S. A. MCCOLLAM, D.D., performing the ceremony.
Miss Geneva C. FERGUSON of McDonald, sister of the bride, served as bridesmaid and Mr. James G. HOGG, a senior at Davidson college, N.C., was his brother's
bestman. Mr. and Mrs.
A. F. COOKE, Jr., of McDonald were also in attendance.
Mrs. HOGG is a graduate of McDonald high school and attended the West Penn hospital school of nursing and Penn State extension college. Mr. HOGG is a graduate of Fishburne Military school, Waynesboro, and attended the University of Denver, Colo. He is employed by the Thermal Products Co., McDonald. They will reside in McDonald.

HOHL - DEPASSE
Miss Jeanne Leona DEPASSE, daughter of Mrs. Juliette NAESSENS of Midway, and Mr. John Bernard
HOHL, son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank HOHL of McKees Rocks, were united in marriage at seven o'clock Tuesday evening, November 5, 1940, in the Midway Methodist church. The pastor, the Rev. Henry F. POLLOCK, performed the ring ceremony.
The bride, given in marriage by her brother-in-law, Abe HOUGH of Portage, wore a brocaded white satin gown with long train, sweetheart neckline, and long tight sleeves. Her long tulle veil fell from a coronet embroidered in pearls. She wore a diamond necklace and carried white chrysanthemums. Miss LaVerne
HORSTMAN, as maid of honor, wore blue brocaded satin with a wine tiara and fingertip veil. She carried an arm bouquet of pink chrysanthemums. The bridesmaids were Miss Vivian HOUGH of Portage, who wore thistle taffeta and a pink tiara and carried an arm bouquet of bronze chrysanthemums, and Miss June CHALMERS of Midway, who wore pink taffeta with matching tiara and carried an arm bouquet of pink chrysanthemums. Mr. Henry JONES of McKees Rocks, a cousin of the bridegroom, served as bestman and the ushers were Mr. Wesley HOHL and Mr. Harry FLEINER of McKees Rocks. The bride's mother wore navy velvet with black accessories and a corsage of red roses. The bridegroom's mother wore wine velvet with black accessories and a corsage of red roses. Mrs. Emerson BEST sang "Sweetest Story Ever Told" and "I Love You Truly," accompanied by Mrs. Charles
RIEHL, who also played the wedding music.
Following the ceremony, a dinner and reception was held in the NAESSENS home.
The bridegroom is employed by the Pittsburgh and Lake Erie railroad. The young couple will reside in Midway.
