At the home of Mr. and Mrs. Emil JORDAN at Primrose on Wednesday afternoon their daughter,
Mamie [JORDAN], was united in marriage to Alfred HICKS, also of Primrose. After the ceremony the guests repaired to the Primrose Club where a reception was held.

HICKS - WINTER
Miss Dorothy WINTER, daughter of Mrs. John SHOUP of Crafton, and Harry HICKS, son of Mr. and Mrs. Alfred HICKS of Primrose, were united in marriage at 7:30 p.m.
Thursday, December 10, 1942, in the parsonage of the Methodist church, Crafton.
The bride wore a blue dress, hat, and veil and a corsage of pink rosebuds. The bridesmaid, Miss Frances WINTER of Crafton, wore a beige and brown velvet dress and
a corsage of white gardenias. Grant WILLIAMS of Crafton served as best-man.
Following the ceremony, a reception was held in the SHOUP home.
Mr. HICKS is a 1932 graduate of Midway high school.
The couple reside in Primrose.

HIGGINS - KAGLE
Miss Betty KAGLE, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry KAGLE of Bishop, and Mr. Mike HIGGINS, son of Mr. and Mrs. William HIGGINS of Houston, were united in marriage at noon Saturday, June 14, 1941, in the residence of the Rev.
C. T. LITTELL, pastor of the Venice U. P. church.
The bride wore a white georgette crepe gown with a half veil and a corsage. The bridesmaids were Miss June STEWART, cousin of the bride, who wore blue crepe with matching veil, and Miss Dorothy KAGLE, sister of the bride, who wore a green net gown with a pink veil. Mr. William KAGLE of Bishop, brother of the bride, served as bestman and Mr. Joseph PIALET of Cecil was the usher.
