WILSON - HENRY
[ HENRY is the Groom. ]
(From a Detroit paper.)
A lovely wedding was solemnized in St. Mark's Methodist Episcopal church at eight o'clock Monday evening, June 28, 1926, when Miss Margaret Jane WILSON, daughter
of Mr. and Mrs. William Wesley ROBINSON, became the bride of George Edward HENRY, son of George W. HENRY of Detroit, Mich. The Rev. Dr. James THOMAS
performed the ceremony before an altar banked with palmes, tall candelabra, roses, and peonies. Tall white standards joined by white satin ribbon formed the aisle for
the bridal party. The bride, given in marriage by her father, was charming in a white georgette gown, fashioned with a full skirt. She wore a headdress of orange blossoms
and carried a shower bouquet of bride's roses and lilies of the valley. Miss Corabelle CHAMBON of McDonald, the bride's only attendant, wore a pale green georgette
gown and carried pink roses. Herbert WALRATH of Detroit was best man. Following the ceremony a reception was held for the relatives and a few close friends, after
which Mr. and Mrs. HENRY left for a motor trip through the East.
The bride is a niece of Mrs. Margaret CHAMBON of McDonald and is well known here.
