HEADLEY - DONALDSON
Miss Martha Agnes DONALDSON, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Richard M. DONALDSON of
"Summerhill Farm," Midway, became the bride of Daniel Henry HEADLEY, Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. Daniel H. HEADLEY of Sharon, at a wedding at three o'clock Saturday afternoon, June 1, 1940, in the home of the bride's parents. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. Alfred HUBBARD, pastor of Center United Presbyterian church, Midway, before an altar of cibotium ferns, with candelabra.
The bride, who was given in marriage by her father, wore a simply fashioned gown of white net over taffeta with shirred bodice and train. Her white tulle veil fell from a tiara of duchesse lace that was used on her mother's wedding gown. She carried white gardenias and lilies of the valley.
Attending her as maid of honor was her cousin, Miss Janet Elizabeth DONALDSON of Pittsburgh, who
appeared in blue marquisette, fashioned with full shirt and trimmed with blue velvet ribbons. She wore a hat to match and carried an arm bouquet of pink roses. The wedding music was played by Mrs. John G. GOOD of Altoona. Preceding the sermon, Miss Miriam CASSIDY of Burgettstown sang "Through the Years" and "I Love You."
Gordon R. HEADLEY of McKeesport was his brother's bestman. A reception followed the ceremony, at which about a hundred guests wee present. Pink gladioli, blue lace flowers and ferns were used in decorating the home. Covers were laid for twelve at the bride's table, where the centerpiece was of pink roses, feverfew and blue lace flowers.
The bride's mother wore dusty rose chiffon over taffeta. Her shoulder corsage was of gardenias. The bridegroom's mother
appeared in navy sheer with touches of white and wore a corsage of
gardenias.
The bride is a graduate of Westminster college, class of 1938, where she was a member of Chi Omega sorority. The bridegroom is also a graduate of Westminster college, class of 1937. He is a
member of Sigma Phi Epsilon fraternity.
After a Southern honeymoon, Mr. HEADLEY and his bride will be at home at 300
Christian avenue, Hubbard, Ohio.

GILLESPIE - HEALY
[ HEALY is the Groom. ]
A pretty wedding took place at nine o'clock Wednesday morning, August 27, 1924, in St Alphonsus' church, when Miss Anne Catherine
GILLESPIE, only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George GILLESPIE of the Venice road, became the bride of Mr.
Aidan HEALY, second son of
John HEALY of the Southside, McDonald. The nuptial high mass was read
by the Rev. Father Joseph A. BURGOON. The wedding march from
"Lohengrin" was played by Miss Jeannette RANDOUR. Miss Gertrude
HEALY, a sister of the bridegroom, sang "O Sacred Heart, O Love Divine" and at offertory sang Rosewig's "Ave Maria." The girls' choir sang the mass.
The bride, who was given in marriage by her father, wore a gown of white satin and Irish point lace, with a silver corsage at the left side. Her picture hat was of white lace and silk braid, and her bouquet was white lilies and roses, showered with lilies of the valley. A rope of pearls, the gift bridegroom, was her only
ornament. Miss Marian MOORHEAD of Braddock, as bridesmaid, wore a frock of apricot georgette crepe, beaded, with a black velvet hat, and carried pink roses. Mr. HEALY was attended by Mr. Bernard MORAN of Center avenue. The wedding was supplemented by a breakfast for the immediate families at the
home of the bride's parents, with twelve at the bride's table. The wedding cake formed the centerpiece, with a bouquet of salmon colored gladiolas and white asters at each end of the table. Mr. and Mrs. HEALY left at noon for a motor trip
to Cleveland and Detroit. On their return they will reside with the bride's parents.
Mrs. HEALY is a graduate of Cecil township high school, class of 1923, and is a teacher in the Cecil township schools. Mr. HEALY graduated from McDonald high school in 1918 and has since been employed at the Record.

Former Local Man Married In Maine
[ HEALY - LAURENCE ]
The marriage of Miss Yvette Marie LAURENCE, daughter of Mrs. Corinne LAURENCE and the late Adelard LAURENCE, and Thomas George HEALY, son of Mr. and Mrs. Aidan HEALY of Hyattsville, Md., formerly of McDonald, took place at a formal ceremony at eight o'clock Tuesday morning, June 3, 1947, in SS. Peter and Paul church, Lewiston, Maine, before a nuptial mass sung by the Rev. Fr. F. M. CHARBONNEAU. The double ring ceremony was used. The main altar of the church was banked with pink gladioli and ferns.
The bride, given in marriage by her uncle, Armand CARON, wore a white satin brocade and net gown with long train and fingertip veil with coronet of pearls. She carried a colonial bouquet of orange blossoms centered with a white orchid. Her only adornment was a necklace of pearls, the gift of the bridegroom. Miss Ann HEALY, of Washington, D.C., sister of the bridegroom, as maid of honor, wore a gown of aqua marquisette over taffeta, with matching coronet. She carried a colonial bouquet of pale pink carnations and babies' breath. Marcel LAURENCE brother of the bride, was bestman. The bride's mother wore a black gown with pink corsage and the bridegroom's mother wore a gray gown with pink corsage.
During the ceremony Miss Georgette GIBOIN of Lewistown sang "Ave Maria," "Panis Angelicus," and "Agnus Dei." A wedding breakfast followed the ceremony, with fifteen at the bride's table which was centered with a large bride's cake.
For traveling the bride wore a light blue faille suit with pink hat. Following a wedding trip in Maine the young couple left by plane for Washington, D.C. They will make their home in Riverdale, Md. Mrs. HEALY was employed during the war by the War and Treasury departments and the French Purchasing Mission in Washington, D.C. She attended the Ave Maria convent in Lewistown and the University of Main. Mr. HEALY is a graduate of Hyattsville high school and is employed as a draftsman by the Washington Gas Light Co., Washington, D.C.

Mr. and Mrs. Edwin C. WINANT of Jacksonville, Fla., formerly of Mt. Lebanon, announce the marriage of their daughter Miss Lillian to Donald B. HEANY, son of Mrs. Brainard F. HEANY and the late Rev.
