Announcements were recently received of the marriage of Miss Sara MacQueen HIGGINS, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas HIGGINS of Glenshaw, to the Rev.Calvin Hoffman HAZLETT, on September 13, 1926, at Landour, India.  The Rev. Mr. HAZLETT is a son of Dr. and Mrs. Calvin G. HAZLETT of Newark, Ohio, and a grandson of Mr. G. W. HOFFMAN of this place. The Rev. Mr. HAZLETT is a teacher in the Ewing Christian college at Allahaba, India, where they will make their home.

HAZLETT - OAKES

A lovely home wedding took place at Madison, Pa., on Tuesday, June 21, when Miss Martha OAKES, daughter of Rev. and Mrs. J. E. OAKES, was united in marriage with Francis H. HAZLETT, son of Mr. and Mrs. E. C. HAZLETT, of Noblestown. The bride wore a powder blue georgette frock; and Miss Eleanor HAZLETT, sister of the groom, as bridesmaid, wore a lavender georgette gown. Davis DOUGLASS, of Johnstown, was best man. The wedding took place at two o'clock and was followed by a wedding dinner with covers laid for twenty at the bride's table. Among the guests were Mr. and Mrs. E. C. HAZLETT and daughters, Martha, Eleanor and Betty, of Noblestown.

Mrs. Edna McCLAIN of Bridgeville announces the marriage of her daughter Margaret [McCLAIN] to Ralph L. HAZLETT of Billings, Montana, son
of Mr. and Mrs. E. C. HAZLETT of Noblestown, at the Methodist parsonage in Bridgeville on Monday, February 1, 1926, at 2:30 p. m.  The Rev. W. D. PARKINS performed the ceremony.  A dinner was served at the home of Mrs. Frances CHEEKS, an aunt of the bride, at her home on Washington pike. Covers were laid for fifteen. The young couple left on Monday evening for Billings,
where they will make their home. They intend to spend several days in Chicago.
