HATTON - ARGENTA
Miss Mary E. ARGENTA, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph ARGENTA of Joffre, and Mr. Woodrow W. HATTON, son of Mr. and Mrs. William HATTON of Midway, were united in marriage at 9:00 a.m. Saturday, June 8, 1940, in St. Ann's church,
Bulger, by the Rev. Fr. J. ROBACZEWSKI.
The bride, given in marriage by her godfather, Mr. Dominic ARGENTA of Noblestown, wore a white chiffon marquisette gown with a finger-top veil extending from a rhinestone crown. She carried white roses. The bridesmaid, Miss Leah ARGENTA of Joffre, sister of the bride, wore blue chiffon and carried red roses. Mr. William ARGENTA of Wessburg, W.Va., served as bestman. Mr. Edward COLLINS of Bulger played the wedding music and Mr. Leonard HERMES of Bulger sang.
A reception was held in the ARGENTA home. The young couple will reside in Midway. Mr HATTON is employed in the Weirton steel mill.

DOUBLE WEDDING
[ HAUDENSHIELD - SCOTT ]
[ SCOTT - SCOTT ]
On Wednesday evening, June 11, 1924, at 7:45 o'clock, in the Union church, Steubenville pike, occurred the marriages of
Miss Laura SCOTT, daughter of John SCOTT of SCOTT's station, and George HAUDENSHIELD of Greentree borough and Miss Elsie SCOTT, daughter of John P. SCOTT of Carnegie, and John SCOTT, son of John SCOTT of SCOTT's station. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. Mr. HILDEBRAND, pastor of the Union church. After the ceremony a reception was held in the church dining room, after which both couples left for an Eastern wedding trip.
Mr. and Mrs. HAUDENSHIELD will reside in Carnegie and Mr. and Mrs. SCOTT will make their home on the SCOTT homestead at SCOTT's station.

HAUFF - BELL
Miss Virginia BELL, daughter of Dr. James a. BELL, president of Southeastern university, Washington, D.C., and Mrs. BELL, was married to Lt. Gordon William HAUFF, U.S.A., son of Mr. and Mrs. Clyde V. HAUFF of Corning, N.Y., Saturday evening, June 26, 1943. The wedding took place in the Northminter Presbyterian church, the Rev. Dr. Walter E. PRICE officiating at 8 o'clock and Mr. Joseph WHITEFORD playing the wedding music. The reception was held in the home of the bride's parents when Mr. and Mrs. HAUFF, who came for the wedding, assisted Dr. and Mrs. BELL in receiving.
Leading the bridal procession to the altar were the ushers, Lt. Thomas LEWIS, Lt. Norton EASTMENT, Mr. Herbert KINDER, and Mr. David APULD. They were followed by the bridesmaids, Miss Mary MILLER of Baltimore and Miss Beverly RAMSDELL who came dressed in powder blue net with lace bodices and carried arm bouquets of yellow roses.
Miss Winona BELL was maid of honor for her sister and immediately preceded her. She was dressed in yellow net with a lace bodice in the same shade and carried an arm bouquet of talisman roses.
The bride was escorted and given in marriage by her father, the bridegroom and Clyde V.
HAUFF, Jr., who was bestman, awaiting them at the altar. The bride's gown was of white marquisette with a lace bodice and her finger-tip-length veil was held by a crown of pearls. She carried white roses and babies'-breath.
Later in the evening Lt. and Mrs. HAUFF started on their wedding trip to Eagles Mere, PA., and will make their home in New York, where Lt. HAUFF is on duty at Fort Jay. Mrs. HAUFF wore a powder blue faille suit with white
accessories and a white orchid. Both Lt. HAUFF and his bride are graduates of Western Maryland college, at Westminster, MD.
The bride's mother is the former Margaret BAMFORD of McDonald and the bride's father will be remembered as the son of James BELL, for many years a merchant at Midway.

Mr. and Mrs. Samuel J. MILLIGAN have announced the marriage of their daughter Sara Marie
[MILLIGAN] to Howard C. HAUGHT, son of the late Mr. and Mrs. C. R. HAUGHT of Westland.
The wedding vows were exchanged at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, December 13, in the home of the Rev. Ralph KEMPER, Canonsburg. The couple was attended by Mr. and Mrs. James HAUGHT of Canonsburg. The bride was attired in a royal blue dress trimmed in silver sequins with black and silver accessories. She wore a corsage of red roses. They are at home to their friends at house 207, Westland. Mrs. HAUGHT is employed as a cashier in the Champion store, Westland and
Mr. HAUGHT is employed at the Pittsburgh Coal Co. Westland mine. Both attended Hickory high school.
