HANCZAR - WINDSHEIMER
Miss Alma L. WINDSHEIMER, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William WINDSHEIMER of Oakdale, and Constantine
HANCZAR, son of Mr. and Mrs. Sylvester HANCZAR of Carnegie, were united in marriage at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, September 14, 1946, in the United Presbyterian church, Oakdale. The Rev. W. V. RITCHIE performed the double ring ceremony.
The bride wore a white taffeta gown and fingertip veil and carried a bouquet of white lilies. LaVerne WINDSHEIMER, sister of the bride, was the maid of honor and wore a blue taffeta gown and carried pink roses. John HANCZAR, brother of the bridegroom, served as bestman. Mary Lou WINDSHEIMER, sister of the bride, was one of the flower girls and wore a blue taffeta gown and carried pink asters. Barbara WHITE, niece of the bridegroom, was the other flower girl, and wore a white taffeta gown and carried white asters.
A wedding dinner was served at 6:00 p.m. in the home of the bride for the immediate families of the bride and bridegroom. A small reception was held at 8:00 p.m. for close friends and neighbors.
Mrs. HANCZAR, a 1941 graduate of North Fayette high school, is employed as a seamstress at the Dustproof Mattress Co. in Pittsburgh. Mr. HANZCAR, a 1941 graduate of Carnegie high school, and an overseas veteran, is a senior at the University of Pittsburgh. Following a honeymoon to New York City, the young couple will make their home in Carnegie.

Mr. and Mrs. Robert A. PEACOCK of McDonald, have announced the marriage of their daughter, Miss Nancy Emma PEACOCK, and Henry Hunter HANNA, of Pittsburgh, son of Mrs. Martha HANNA, of Washington, Pa., which took place at 5:30 o'clock Monday afternoon in the Fort Pitt Hotel. Only the immediate families witnessed the ceremony which was performed by the Rev. Dr. L. K. PEACOCK, of Houston, Pa., an uncle of the bride, assisted by the Rev. W. D. IRONS, D. D., of the First United Presbyterian church of McDonald. The bride, who was unattended, was given away by her father. Her gown of blue romayne crepe was worn with a large black hat and a corsage of Ophelia roses and valley lilies. After a western trip including a visit to Yellowstone National Park, Mr. and Mrs. HANNA will reside in Pittsburgh, having announced days for after October 1. Mrs. HANNA is a graduate of Indiana State Normal and of Margaret Morrison school. Her husband is a W. and J. man and a member of the Allegheny County bar.

The wedding of Miss Nancy Emma PEACOCK, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. R. A. PEACOCK of West Lincoln avenue, McDonald, and Henry Hunter HANNA of Pittsburgh, son of Mrs. Martha HANNA of Washington, took place at five-thirty o'clock Monday evening, August 14, 1922, in the Fort Pitt hotel, Pittsburgh. The Rev. Luther K. PEACOCK of Houston, uncle of the bride performed the ceremony, assisted by her pastor, the Rev. W. D. IRONS, D. D., of the First United Presbyterian church of McDonald. The bride wore a gown of blue Romain crepe, a black hat, and carried a bouquet of ophelia roses showered with lilies of the valley. A wedding dinner, at which the immediate families were present, supplemented the ceremony. After a Western trip, which will include a visit to Yellowstone National park, Mr. and Mrs. HANNA will be at home October first in the Eastend Pittsburgh. The bride is a
graduate of Indiana State normal school, also of the Margaret Morrison school of Carnegie Tech. Mr. HANNA is a graduate of W. & J. college and is a member of the Allegheny county bar.
