Mrs. Mary J. MICHAUX of East Lincoln avenue, McDonald, and Mr.
George HAMERICK of Burgettstown were married at 10:00 a.m., Saturday,
June 22, 1940, in Winchester, Va., by the Rev. Homer WELCH. Mr.
and Mrs. William KESTNER of Johns avenue, McDonald, were the attendants.

WILLIAMSON - HAMILTON
[ HAMILTON is the Groom. ]
The marriage of Miss Mahala WILILAMSON of Midway and Calvin HAMILTON of McKeesport and Detroit, Mich., was solemnized Thursday, August 3 at the home of the bride's mother, Mrs. Hannah WILLIAMSON of Mdway
[sic=Midway]. The ring service was read by her pastor, Rev. J. R. ROUTLEDGE of the Baptist church. The couple were attended by Mr. Howard MOORE of Burgettstown and Miss Martha WILLIAMSON, sister of the bride. The bride wore a gown of white. Miss Rose SMITH, a niece of the bride, played the bridal march. After congratulations they were ushered into the dining room where dinner was served to about forty guests. The color scheme of pink and white was carried out. After dinner the couple left on the 5 o'clock train for an eastern trip including Washington, D. C., Gettysburg and Confluence. The happy couple will upon their return will go to housekeeping in Detroit, Mich., where Mr. HAMILTON was called to preach in the Calvary Baptist church of that place. The out-of-town guests were Mr. and Mrs. Wilson HAMILTON of McKeesport, parents of the groom, and Rev. HARRAR of Pittsburgh.

HAMILTON - PURDY
The marriage of Mrs. E. PURDY, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Elmer PURDY of Clinton, and Robert Lloyd HAMILTON, son of Mr. and Mrs. Howard HAMILTON, also of Clinton, was solemnized Wednesday, February 22, 1928, at noon, in the Clinton U. P. church. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. T. C.
STRANGEWAY, pastor of the bride and bridegroom. The wedding party included Mrs. Mary HAMILTON of Canonsburg, grandmother of the bridegroom, and his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Howard HAMILTON, his sister, Miss Melvina HAMILTON, Elmer PURDY, father of the bride, and her brothers Wayne [ PURDY ] and James [ PURDY ], Miss Evelyn PURDY, and Mrs. T. C.
STRANGEWAY. Mr. and Mrs. HAMILTON went on a trip to Niagara Falls and other points of interest. They will reside in their newly-furnished home in Coraopolis.

HAMILTON - HILL
Miss Helen HILL, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W. A. HILL of Thomas station, and Romine HAMILTON, son of Mr. and Mrs. Claude HAMILTON of Detroit, were united in marriage at two o?clock Tuesday afternoon, August 9, 1938, in the Church Around the Corner, New York City. The bride was attired in dark blue celenese with shoes and hat to match. She wore a corsage of gardenias.
Mrs. HAMILTON graduated from Muskingum college and taught in the Cecil township schools for nine years. They will reside in Oglebay Park, Wheeling, W. Va.
Mrs. Ralph HILL of Verona and E. M. CASEBER of Finleyville entertained at a dessert luncheon Friday at the CASEBER home in Finleyville in honor of the bride. At the close of the entertainment period, Billy HILL, aged three, entered the room, drawing a wagon containing the bride?s gifts.

HAMILTON - ATEN
The marriage of Miss Martha ATEN, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles
McClelland ATEN of R. D. 2, Coraopolis, and William Irwin HAMILTON, son
of Mr. and Mrs. R. E. HAMILTON of Clinton, was solemnized at eight
o'clock Friday evening, October 18, 1940, in the home of the bride's
aunt, Miss Jennie A. ATEN. The Rev. C. E. DAVISON of the Valley
church [sic] performed the ring ceremony in front of the living room
fire place which was decorated with yellow chrysanthemums.
The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a floor length gown
of white velvet and carried white chrysanthemums. Miss Louise
HAMILTON, sister of the bridegroom, was her only attendant and she wore
a soldier blue velvet gown and carried lavender chrysanthemums.
Frederick G. ATEN, brother of the bride, served as bestman.
Preceding the ceremony Mrs. George N. ALLISON of Imperial played
"Meditation" from Tieste and "Intermezzo" on the
violin and during the ceremony she played "At Dawning,"
"I Love You Truly," and "Oh Promise Me." After
the ceremony she played "Because." Mrs. ALLISON was
accompanied at the piano by Miss Ellem HAMEL of Overbrook.
Only the immediate families and a few close friends were
present. Eight were seated at the bride's table which was
decorated with a bride's cake, yellow chrysanthemums, and yellow
candles.
Mr. and Mrs. HAMILTON will be at home in the KEARNS apartment (sic),
Imperial.
