Miss Ora E. ENGLAND of McDonald and Mr. Hoyt HALL of Imperial were united in marriage at 2:30 o'clock Wednesday afternoon, July 30, 1924, at the
residence of Mr. and Mrs. W. S. NANGLE in Fifth street, McDonald, the Rev. B. B. HARRISON officiating. The bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. David ENGLAND. The bridegroom is a son of Mrs. James HALL of Imperial. He is employed by the Montour railroad. The young couple will reside in Imperial on their return from a wedding trip.

HALLAM - JOHNSON
Before an embankment of palms and garden flowers, the marriage of Miss Myra JOHNSON, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John C. JOHNSON, Washington, D.C., and Thomas
HALLAM, son of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas HALLAM, McDonald, was solemnized July 7 in the home of the bride. The JOHNSON family until a few years ago resided near Rea, PA.
The ceremony was performed at 4 o'clock by the Rev. Richard M. MUSSEN, pastor of Sherwood Presbyterian church.
The bride wore a street-length dress of aqua crepe with white accessories and an orchid corsage. Gold earrings and necklace, a gift of the bridegroom, were jewels worn.
As her sister's only attendant, Miss Doris JOHNSON, wore a pink linen dress with white accessories and a corsage of yellow roses.
Warren HALLAM, brother of the bridegroom, served as bestman.
Following the ceremony a reception was held in the home of the bride, after which the bridal party and friends went to the Dodge Hotel for the bridal dinner.
The bride was graduated from Mt. Pleasant township Vocational high school, Hickory, and Washington seminary. She has been employed as hostess for the Capital Airlines for 18 months.
The bridegroom was graduated from McDonald high school and a radio school in Pittsburgh. He has been employed by the Capital Airlines for six years and is Senior Dispatcher at the National Airport.
After a short honeymoon they will live in Alexandria, Va.
