Rev. and Mrs. W. M. LORIMER of West Alexander announce the marriage of their daughter, Helen Elizabeth, to Harold Blaine GRIM, son of Mrs. J. C. STILWELL of Claysville, which was solemnized on March 28 at Bedford. The bride attended Monmouth and Muskingum colleges and for the past year has been employed as assistant cashier in the Peoples National bank of West Alexander. Mr. GRIM was graduated from W. & J. college in the class of 1926, and is affiliated with the Kappa Sigma fraternity. For the past three years he has been a successful coach of athletics at Burgettstown High school. After June 1, Mr. and Mrs. GRIM will make their home in Burgettstown.

GRIMES - PATTERSON.

John GRIMES of Claysville and Miss Esther PATTERSON of Venice were quietly married at two o'clock Thursday afternoon, June 12, 1924, in the United Presbyterian parsonage at Venice, the Rev. C. T. LITTELL, officiating. The couple was attended by the bride's father and mother and the bridegroom's mother. The bride was attired in a traveling suit of gray and hat to match. After a wedding dinner the couple left by train for a short wedding trip in the mountains, after which they will be at home to their friends in Pittsburgh. Mrs. GRIMES is a graduate of the Cecil township high school, class of 1918, and has taught in the Cecil township schools since her graduation. She will teach in the grade school at Cecil this coming term. Mr. GRIMES has been an instructor in the Cecil township high school for several years and at present is attending Pitt University. He will teach in the Cecil high school this fall.

The Rev. O. E. GARDNER, D. D., of McDonald [Pa.] performed the ceremony which united Miss Dorothy ARNOLD of Washington [Pa] and Robert Harrison GRIMES of State College [Pa] on Monday night in the home of the bride's parents, the William C. ARNOLDs, in Washington.  The ceremony was followed by a wedding dinner which also was in celebration of the silver wedding anniversary of the bride's parents. The bride is a graduate of Washington hospital school of nursing [sic=should be cap first letters] and is a member of the hospital staff. Mr. Grimes is a graduate of Pennsylvania State college. They will reside at State College [Pa].

The ceremony was performed Saturday, August 18th at 4 p. m. in the First Presbyterian church, Sixth avenue, Pittsburgh, Pa. with Rev. R. W. PORTER officiating. Mrs. GRIMM is a graduate of McDonald High school, Class of 1925 and Duff's Iron City College. Mr. GRIMM is a graduate of Theodore ROOSEVELT High school, Des Moines, Iowa. They will make their home in Wilkinsburg after October 1st.
