GRIFFITH - VIDAL
Miss Germaine C. C. VIDAL, daughter of John VIDAL of High street, McDonald [Pa], and Mr. Calvin L. GRIFFITH, son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles GRIFFITH of R. D. 1, Bulger [Pa], were united in marriage at 2:15 p.m., Friday, June 28, 1940, in the First Presbyterian parsonage, the pastor, the Rev. O. E. GARDNER, D.D., performing the ring ceremony. The bride wore a light blue dress trimmed in white. Her flowers were gardenias. Miss Lorraine VIDAL, brother of the bride, served as bestman. A reception followed with 30 guests, 25 seated at the bride's table. The young couple left for a trip to Detroit and upon their return will reside in North street, McDonald [Pa]. Mr. GRIFFITH is employed at the Universal Steel mill, Bridgeville [Pa].

ALLEN, of Crosscreek, and Glenn Albert GRIFFITH, of Midway, were married Friday, February 22, in Cumberland, Md. The couple are well known in their respective communities. Mrs. GRIFFITH attended Crosscreek High school and had been working in Washington previous to her marriage. The young couple have not made their plans known as yet.

Miss Bertha EMERICK, daughter of E. O. EMERICK of Third street, McDonald [Pa], and Cpl. Thomas Jefferson GRIFFITH, who returned recently from South America, son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles GRIFFITH of R. D. 1, Bulger [Pa], were united in marriage at 7:45 p.m. Monday, March 6, 1944, in the parsonage of the First United Presbyterian church, McDonald [Pa], by the pastor, the Rev. S. A. McCOLLAM, D.D.
